We had one like this in Leeds. The thunderwoke me up, and it rained so much my path i my garden was a river litteraly:| and the streets were flowing with water and hail :D

I live in Hitchin aswell, the storms were pretty epic today too. Don't think I've ever seen lightning that awesome on Windmill hill before though :P
