but now we have a freedome to worship in public in the USA Thank Jesus. And church buildings allow us to have a center of operations where we can meet worship felowship and have comunity of belivers. There is great strenght innumbers and if we do our Job we can reach the world for Jesus. But I do agree that sometimes people get to overzelus about getting a building and become greedy. Hi and God bless, I would just ask given the situation of the early church ( persecution and all ) would it not bee pragmatic to say that for the safety of the belivers that the early church would meet in houses in secret. you see the context of the early church ( persecution) force them to meet in secret in peoples houses not in public. U see the reason church buildings where not part of early church is cause if they would worship in public they would get killed .
How about passing and offering plate AT EVERY GATHERING: Sunday morning Sunday School, Sunday morning services, Sunday evening services, Wednesday evening services.
Not to mention the CONSTANT REMINDER from the pastor to TITHE!!
And this, my dear brother, at the supposedly King James Bible Only church, where members used anything from the NIV to the NKJV that I had been so happy to find! Nothing by hypocrisy is what I found!
Through the likes of you on YT is where I find my church to be! TY!
