  • Why don't you play a REAL fiddle, like a REAL man!?!?!

  • I love iT! who's the luthier that made this little thing?

  • !!!!!!!

  • I like them as well, as long as it's well played or is a cool tune. I play fiddle myself and use it for what it was mostly intended, which is to accompany dancing. I play and write in styles from all around the world. As long as the tune has 32 bars it can be used for the contra dancing which is a lot of the type of dance music I mostly play .

  • Why can't people play Bach or anything classical instead of this boring American folk music.

  • @Max0Inq It's a boring American conspiracy to annoy you. How's it working?

  • @BluesMcGoo Although this replay was meant to be sarcastic (I guess) I actually found it very funny and well-pointed. :D

  • @Max0Inq I'm glad you took it in the manner it was intended. It's a sad day when we can't laugh.

  • @Max0Inq, You sir are ignorant. This happens to be Irish music and many great composers drew on folk music as source material and inspiration for their compositions. There was a whole period of Romantic music era where all the composers were writing nationalist pieces doing this. Vaughn Williams's Theme from Thomas Tallis, Smetana's The Moldau are two lovely examples.Read about it all on wikipedia look up Musical Nationalism

  • @Pgitlitz I have nothing against musical nationalism, moreover I find it very valueble. But every time I watch pochette fiddles videos I hear the same music all the time. I know music is a matter of taste but this kind of folk really bores me. Eastern Europe, Middle and Far East - that's my type of music.

  • theres not too much to say, its a phenomenal instrament that has seemed to be use alot in the 1800s in either restaurants or for bar intertainment
