HAHA, This is not possible. If the cell phones can make pop corn, which means those cell phones can generate a power = the power generate from a pop corn machine that is not possible. Moreover, if this is true, I think your brain will become pop corn first :P
My guess is: because water molecules try to align themselves with the alternating electric field of the microwaves, the process produce heat that pop the corn. The corns might have been soaked with hot water before the experiment so the heating effect is enhanced.
