Mr Revillame, in effect, had to fix ABS-CBN management's mistake on the spot & while the show was live on air. ABS-CBN, out of respect for the Aquino family should have momentarily suspended WOWOWEE, but didn't. It was a bad judgement call by ABS-CBN mamagement to televise her funeral at the same time, on a live game show. They can't have a cake and eat it too. The real damage was done by ABS-CBN.

The show has more drama than MMK. More insulting. What parts of the show that is really funny?
ABS doesn't have control on every words coming from the arrogant host. It was plain and simple, that the removal of the inset was asked or demanded on live and in front of the cam. Willie was suspended indefinitely which i think was very right. Why punish the show, the show was being run by this bossy, arrogant TV host of shame.

The way Willie acted on that show, he is more of the management than a plain T.V. host and as bossy and demanding as he is, he can call a shot anytime, just like when asked the removal of the inset on-cam but he chooses to air his circus-like show and his stupid jokes than to share his time grieving just like the owner and the president of the network. People have to be naïve, to think TFC would get rid of Willie when Wowowee is biggest Filipino moneymaking program across the planet.
Cory was President; the network should have cancelled all programming during the funeral but did not.
TFC didnt want to lose profits from Wowowee and other programs during that time slot.
TFC programming manager used poor judgment and its the fault of the network to approve it.
Its difficult to host a daily live TV show, keep it fresh & not screw up.

I agree he had good intentions, but I believe the TV station management should have known better. Mr Revillame, in effect, had to fix ABS-CBN management's mistake on the spot & while the show was live on air. ABS-CBN, out of respect for the Aquino family should have momentarily suspended WOWOWEE, but didn't. It was a bad judgement call by ABS-CBN mamagement to televise her funeral at the same time, on a live game show. They can't have a cake and eat it too. The real damage was done by ABS-CBN.

ABS-CBN did nothing wrong of showing the inset of the procession. The arrogant host who always claimed that his show is the funniest show is lying . Is the show really funny? Exploiting the poor people, making fun of less unfortunate guests of thier looks, the way they speak english, the way they read the letters, forcing someone to cry, putting his staff on embarrasing situation. The "Majority" ain't always right. In fact it seems that people in the PI can be easily led, like sheep, which does not speak highly about them at all. Either they're too lazy or too emotional to think independently, which is sad.
It's obvious that Mr Revillame was forced to make such apologies, but I still contend that he did nothing wrong. It was just the typically emotion-driven people in the population that got it wrong and misinterpreted what Willie was driving at.

The arrogant host made a mistake that's why he is paying for the consequences of his immatured act. Somehow you have to pay for your stupidity whether you're rich or well-known it doesn't matter.

Sure, however from my standpoint it is very clear to me that alot of people have grossly over-reacted to this farce to the point that the overreation itself has become a farce. Get off the bandwagon people if you don't want to look like idiots. If you really wanted to go after those who are really responsible then why don't you call for the scalp of the show/floor manager and/or the station's management. I'm pretty sure that Mr Revillame doesn't completely call the shots!
