  • Great pics. I did BFL in 2000 and had good success also. Fast forward 10 years and many other diets... Now I'm doing HCG. Thanks so much for sharing.

  • Delmem - I know that you probably get tired of answering questions, but I placed an order for HCG with Pharmacy Escrow. 2 months later, I asked for a refund because they still had not gotten the order to the U.S. Yesterday, I placed an order for HCG with All Day Chemist, now I'm worried. I ordered 10 premixed ampules. Is that ok. I asked what they were premixed with and they told me "water". Does that weaken the dosage? Should I be contacting them and ask them to send me the dry powder?

  • @blwishon Don't trust either of them for accurate info, the LAST time pharmacy escrow/drug delivery ca had ppl waiting 2 mo + for orders was when I found ADC out of necessity.

The premie is mixed with aminos & a small sugar base to sustain potency. Feedback has been positive so far, but since it's new won't know if the 2 year shelf life claim is accurate, but then again, doubt anyone will be shelving any that long.

  • its impressive, cool!

  • I know you are on maintenance. I'm concern about the rebound possibilities.

there are several celebs that have blown up like a balloon.(not knowing their diet program) Mamaclok said she gain roughly 20lb over a short period of time. my hope is that the reset button is real. Only time will tell. thanks for your sincere and committed efforts.

  • @sunnyroses1 this is why phase 3 is so important, it helps reset the hypothalmus gland..you have to follow DR.S diet and all 3 phases exactly how he says to do it..you have to keep a close eye on the scale..anytime in phase 3 you go over 2 pounds youa re supposed to do a steak day..you ahve to figure out the amount of calories that work for you..

  • SO those shots u were injecting ur self with were a type of hormone? or was it an oil based muscle expander?

  • I did BFL back in '99 - the hCG protocol completely different, didn't start that until Oct 2007.

I took nothing on BFL, just worked out and ate - and I actually don't think I ate enough on BFL as I lost a few pounds of muscle mass along with the fat. Presume I would have added a few pound of lean mass if I'd eaten more.

  • guys, the BFL challenge is based on honesty. also, you have to register if you want to compete so the dates are binding. also, the newspaper shots are just to emphasise the duration of the challenge to other competitors or enthusiasts and are merely an embelishment to the progress shot.

  • So.. did the "tan" come with the injections? lol.. I would have believed you more had you not shown up in your final picture 12 shades darker.

  • It's true - if you notice I was getting darker in the 2nd picture. Had read sunlight (UV) increases vitamin D and ALSO naturally increases testosterone, so I was hitting the tanning bed 3 times a week... just search "sunlight testosterone" and you should find the article.

BTW - really glad you didn't mention anything about me shaving my chest - now THAT might have been embarrassing...

  • the newspaper shows the date the picture was taken because a lot of weight loss adds would show people that where already in shape then pay them to get fat so it would look like a b4 and after

  • great job can you please help me and tell me where to get it and how much it cost and how much i need plz help me thanks

  • Because they are in transformation contests and they need to be able to prove that that it took them from a certain date like 10/10/07 to 11/10/07 for thier transformation. Otherwise they could take a pic from two years ago and tehn a pic from the present and say that losing 50lbs of fat only took them a month.

    Hope that answered your question.

  • ok, but what if i showed a news paper from last year? you can't see the pic very well, i dont think it's a very accurate way of proving when you took that pic. maybe we should get a legal document made with pics :D hahah ya right...

  • All you would have to do to prove it would be go to a library and look at the news paper archive. Most keep them for a year at least.

  • DOn't think they still insist on it, but the first few years you had to hold a newspaper in your hand to help verify the date the picture was taken to make sure your change in conditioning was within the prescribed time limit. (approx 3 month challenge)

  • Have you heard of 'side effects' from HCG? I started 9 days ago but have stopped, in spite of losing 11 lbs! I started low, (60 units) because I tend to be sensitive. With no side effects the first day, I injected 120 units SQ the 2nd day. In 30 seconds, I became very cold, extremely dizzy, very thirsty, diarrhea. This lasted 5 hours! My doc said his wife had exact same reaction. I've alternated between 40 and 80 units since with very similar (but milder), symptoms. It is very scary. Comments?

  • It sound very scary. Read about hypersensitivity but never heard from anyone with that type of reaction. I'd be afraid of electrolyte imbalance & dehydration.

Sorry, hope you're feeling better. Thanks for sharing that & keeping things real. If your doc doesn't disagree - might consider following Atkins dietary guidelines. With an 11 lb loss (congrats on that at least) you're already in dietary ketosis, could still lose 3-5 lbs/week without the hCG if you keep carb intake low.

  • Hi, I looked at your profile and I see you are 63 years of age, and assuming you are female.

HCG acts differently in men and women, and it is a gonadotropin, a precursor to sex hormones. If you are menopausal you would need to approach HCG very differently to pre-menopausal women and probably take it along with other hormones such as Estrogens and Progesterone or DHEA.

  • Wow! Good job!!! And thanks for your encouragement!!

    <3 Ash

  • holy shit man those are some results

  • I understand...I am right there with you...!

  • I broke my back a couple years ago - can't do much anymore either - it hurts just to sweep my patio off.

  • I found it hard to believe as well, 35 lbs in a month, a total of 65 lbs in two months on BFL. Bill Phillips is the man. Was kicking myself in the arse for not trying it sooner.

Check postings for "hcg protocol" allzinc - a lot have lost as much or more than I did in 30 days. We aren't making this stuff up.

  • thanks for the info man. but one question bothers me ketosis what is that and can u explain it to me and what it has to do with simeons protocol.Plus on trudeaus thing in the book it says only 45 days can you continue it for more than that. some say you can others say you cant because the body will get use to HCG and might not work again.

  • Diet induced ketosis - ketones are a by product of lipolysis, when fat cells are converted into energy. When you're calorie deficient (eating less than your body requires to function) your body converts fat to allow you to function. hCG & Adkins are both ketogenic diets. (check the narrative on my post "Simeons protocol and ketosis" for more indepth info.)

  • As fasr as duration - per Simeon's manuscript no less than 26 days, no more than 40 days or a loss of 36 lbs, whichever comes 1st. Then 6 weeks before starting another course of hCG to lessen the chance of hCG sensitivity, and progressively longer breaks if doing more than 2 courses. I suggest a web search on "Simeon manuscript", read it in it's entirety, then cut & paste sections relevant to you into a local word doc. (is over 60 pages, a lot of info doesn't apply to actually doing the hCG)

  • by standards of science it is impossible to lose 30 pounds of fat in a month from diet and exercise.and if you are, then youre losing something other than fat. normal healthy weight loss is in the range of 1 - 2 pounds a week. thats about 5 pounds a month. much more gradual than you'd think

  • I watched the video to make sure, but I never stated it was 35 lbs of fat. I actually did lose a couple percentage points of lean muscle mass while on BFL, didn't eat enough. Not sure what standards you speak of, 20 lb losses in a WEEK aren't uncommon on the Biggest Loser or the hCG protocol. As far as "normal healthy"-is that from the same ppl that knew the food pyramid 4-4-3-2 was wrong for over 25 yrs before they changed it publicly ?

  • That would depend entirely upon how much FAT you have to lose, as well as the amount of muscle you already have...A morbidly obese person can lose amazing amounts of fat in a relatively short period of time given the proper metabolic enhancement/calorie restriction. 30 lbs to a 150 pound person is not the same as it is to a 500 pound person...Percentages is what you look at, not pounds.

  • but if you look at that guy, he wasnt like "morbidly obese" before, so i find that hard to belive 30 pound in 30 days

  • What lol 1-2 a week ... yes by... lmao... iv lost way more just from cutting out soft drinks and Junk and only eating when i feeel hunry... i lost 75 pounds in 2 and half months

  • because you lost fluid and muscle too, thats not all fat

  • that is why BFL incorprates weight training along with cardio so you dont lose muscle.

  • I truly believe your results will be just as good on Simeons. As to Trudeau's 'wild claim': I think he may have meant that you can eat whatever you want cuz you won't *want* the same old junk after cleaning up your system and resetting hypothalamus & I think that will be true according to what I've heard folks in P3&4 relate.

    B,H,P&FB,

    Shalom!

  • however, you can lose a pound a day from fasting all together! but that can fuck your metabolism up.

  • Not to mention the fact that it takes much more self control to fast than to do VLCD w/hCG & NO HUNGER!!! Very big diff!

    Blessings,

    Shalom!

  • True, but hCG DOESN'T. A Dr in Baltimore I spoke with said a patient pressured him into letting them try the protocol, assumed the metabolism would be shot to hell - but to his amazement it actually seemed to increase on 500 cals a day.

  • And - between cycles, after stalibizing.. I kicked the tires. Ate a cart load of candy bars, ice cream - which I normally infrequently do... I didn't gain any weight back. Still remains to be seen if this is true long term, which is my hope - but during the 32 days on 500 cals, short term my metabolism seems to be rockin'.
