i have one problem. can you do all this with a footage that has been imported from Premiere ?

I mean, i take the footage from premiere, I click >replace with After Effect comp< and then i cannot do what you are doing on that footage linking to the premiere project.

i can only apply the effect to the actual entire footage, and not the linked one.

I think he wanted to say that when he makes the mask the whole videos becomes blurry.

Maby he have to invert the mask.

I don't think it's possible to become blurry automatically. I don't think path tool has an option like this.

I think he is sating that he is masking the face and the other part of the video becomes blurry (blur). And maby he asks how to do it correctly.
