I have a bottle of the Stone 15, cant wait to try it. The only other black ipa i have had was Deschutes Hope in the Dark, all i really tasted was IPA in is though, no real roast or anything.
@HighlandBerserkr I say drink it straight away, its about 6 months old now, and it needs to be drunk fresh! Cool, I haven't had that yet, but I have seen it around. Cheers!
@valgalder One of my roommates wants me to review Tecate because he think its the worst beer ever :-P But yes I will review some macro stuff too. Cheers!
@TheMasterOfHoppets I would love to never see tecate on this channel its so bad. Every time I have a can or two of tecate, I literally feel horribly sick. You should do a pabst blue ribbon review while you're in the states.
I really liked Snow Day, and though I have had Stone 15th Anniversary, the best American Black Ale (I just prefer this term) is Stone Sublimely Self Righteous.
@tlazaroff I was really disappointed in it, good beer, nothing more for me at least. Yeah I love 15th! I will have to get myself a bottle of Sublimely Self Righteous to review too. Cheers!
@PbNAphasia It is awesome for sure. I will have to reacquaint myself with Sublimely soon, so I can decide which I prefer most. Its been over a year since I have Sublimely last, but as now, my favorite American Black Ale/Black IPA is 15th from Stone. Cheers!
My favorite beers from them are 1554 Black Ale(probably their best non-sour beer... never tried their sours), Mighty Arrow American Pale Ale(one of my favorite standard Pale Ales... I actually enjoy it more than the coveted Sierra Nevada which is too hoppy for a standard pale ale IMO), and the Hoptober golden ale(which is an autumn seasonal I believe).
Fat Tire is by far their most famous beer, and it's probably the beer that got me started on craft brew, but I haven't had it in years now...

@tlazaroff Agreed. Stone 15 is awesome, but not as drinkable as Sublimely which iOS what I prefer.
