An A5 requires two notes, the only way this can be conceived as an A5 is if you talking about the key progression, not a chord.

A) There's a harmony, but I don't think that it's a fifth.

B) When describing where a musical note is on the entire spectrum of available notes, people put a number after it. For example, the lowest note on a standard-tuned guitar is E3, and the highest note on a 24-fret guitar is E7. Middle C is C5, etc.

With my falsetto I can go a slight bit higher than this (my friend said it was the G above this). I know falsetto is usually cheating, but I'm a countertenor, so it's okay. =)

Yeah. To reach F-G with falsetto isn't that big of a deal, I can do it too. (And it's what LaBrie always does these days, he himself has said that he can't go over high D with his normal voice anymore.)

When I do it it doesn't sound very good though, and that's always the challenge with singing: To make it sound good. ^^

Yeah, I just like to exercise it so I can make it sound as realistic as possible. So far the best I've done is developed my voice to be able to slide from my lowest to my highest, into falsetto, with no bumps or cracks in the transition. I'm still working on making my falsetto sound more like my real voice, though.
