  • billy martin was my beau when i was 12, and he for ever be my beau

  • thumbs up if u think the background looks like edward sizzor hands

  • @kibafang1123 It's suppose to be. Billy Martin (the lead guitarist) designed it to look like a Tim Burton movie.

  • when I was a kid we had good charlotte not justin beiber.

  • ...My boyfriend is the kid at the lemonade stand. :D I love him very much. (He is 16 now.) :D :D <3 Hoping he'll see this.

  • I grew up listening to these guys and I just realized , is Billy from Green Day ? Sorry ... Just have to know .... :/

  • Good charlotte= One of the best bands, PERIOD.

  • i miss these types of bands: their haircuts, their chart presence, their MUSIC. !!!!

  • @ShadyFalc0n you missed blink 182 :( i remember those times you said, they were the best

  • im down with hip hop( not drake, lil wayne and all that bullshit, im talking bout real hip hop ) however i used to listen to them when i was 13, now im 21 and i still recognise that this music kicks ass for real, for me is not about the music style but how much soul you put in it, and this guys really do.( im not american so excuse my english)

  • Edward Scissorhands?

  • HOLY SHIT listen to the drums at 2:09

  • I remember when this song first came out. I'll even think about this song when the worst times will come my way. Let's say, if my girlfriend cheated on me, that'll be unbearable for me to deal with. But, I've been single my whole life & I know that feeling when people are betrayed by the ones they love so much. This song will defintely set an example.

  • when did the get so dark?

  • @razza1171 This is an old video and it's pretty much a 'fuck you' to the lead singer's dad, who, from what I've read, wasn't a part of his life for a long time.

  • this song is fucking fuck

  • why does it sound like "i knew it all 'aline'"

  • @mrpoohwooh Lmao! it does sound like that. It's like he has an accent sometimes.

  • i love this song <3

  • Does this not remind you of My Chemical Romance AND Edward Scissorhands lol

  • My "Old man" left us when I was 14 I always enjoyed these songs as a kid..

  • buena musica exelente sigan con mas exitos : )

  • I wish my father would leave because he is impossible to please always has the shits and according to him im a little shit and a pig that lives in a pigsty

  • paul always has the best roles in the music videos hahaha

  • The best music I ever had was in grade 8 because it had Blink 182, Avril, Good Charlotte, Evanescence and a bunch of other rock msuic which meant something, which helped people relate and feel better and that it's okay to feel sad or to cry or feel some sort of emotion and that it's okay to talk to someone if you feel really depressed. Music today doesn't have any of that. Music now is all sex, drugs, woman shaking their asses and I'm sorry but I wish I had my rock over any music today.

  • i hate it that when i am trying to listen to this song and that J.B just have to linger on the side, promoting his new songs. argh!

  • ik the feeling of being left by your father and no its not something you can get over ever

  • who remembers panic at the disco how good they are

  • my dad just walked in on me....playing sum mean air drums to this song

  • oh god.. the best memories are with this shit...

  • 2:30

    Derp face.

  • people now think that talking about your emotions and what you feel is emo or gay. i thought music was a way of expressing your feelings, and that's what this song is all about. no emo!

  • me gusta...

  • anyone else think this street reminds them of the street in the Edward Scissorhands movie?

  • i bet their dad regrets walking out now :L

  • i came here for the kankles

  • good charlotte= one of the best bands of the 2000's

  • 6-10 i was young barely could consider me a 90s kid if you even can but these song take me back to when me and my friends listined to these songs all day cause the older kids did now i jus listin cause it takes me back to a time when my parents were together when life was easy ShadyFalc0n says it best its a cry without tears a cry on the inside id die give up the rest of my life to live those first 10 years when that was all i needed...

  • December, 2011, and I'm listening to this :)

  • I respect what shit is on the radio these days, i don't enjoy it, honestly i can't stand it, but i respect it. I'm 13 myself and even i feel that kids these days should at least have the right to know what REAL music is. it's stupid how much shit I, myself get for listening to music i can relate to. c'mon, 11yr. olds cannot relate to partying all night acting sleazy, and if they can, then there's an even bigger problem.

  • EPIC!!! <3

  • thats not milk in da milk bottle.......

  • When i was 13 i listened to sum 41 , linkin park . 3 days grace , Gc ,ttc etc etc ...

Now i am 18 and when i listen to this songs its like i am attatched to them ... i wanna go back to these times .. me with my friends .

I feel i could give everything for a time switch ... its like a cry without tears , like i cry inside..

Anyway maybe you think this is crap ... it made me feel better

I hope i can listen to them when i am 40 or 50 so i can remember how fucking great my life was

  • @ShadyFalc0n i am from quebec and I read what you write and i recognize me in that your fucking intelligent man you know all about the life Big Up!

  • I am sure you're intelligent too !! this came from my heart and i will never forget how my life was back then ... I won't be sad that it isnt that way anymore because i have these memories and nobody can take them from me ... I wish u to have a great life because u made me happy with your comment ... i dont know all about life but i really dont wanna waste it

  • @ShadyFalc0n For me you know what is the life just by thinking about that and i am pretty sure we could be good friends if we lived in the same city and have the same language :P sorry my english is not very well i hope you understand what i trying to tell you and seriously Stay as you are!

  • @JGagnonable

This ment a lot for me m8 ... i am sure we could be friends!!

I understood 101% what u said and i am glad that there are still good people out there !!

you also should stay as u are :P

  • @ShadyFalc0n I agree. That's my whole life story and goal right there.

  • @ShadyFalc0n I know right!! I turned into a black metal head, but I still love these guys. Same for Linkin park. My friends call it pussy music but I know that deep inside they still like it xD Always good to hear songs u liked when you were young and hopeless ;D

  • @ShadyFalc0n

true man... I used to listen to this band and many others like this when I was 13, I'm connected with what you're saying, nostalgia man...

  • @luchboxer many others like blink 182, avril lavigne, simple plan, metallica? i used to listen to those bands when i was 10 or 11, i'm 17 now :p

  • @niqitoa7x

I never dig avril lavigne, but metallica is still one of my all time favorite bands...

  • @ShadyFalc0n EXACTLY how I feel too. You took the words right out of my mind. :)

  • i`m 12 i wanna heve memories to :( i feel so fucked up in 2011 i want to time travel, that time would be so much better!!

  • @kilhia hahahahahah xD i wanna have memories kid u made my day

  • Joel <3

  • Remember when I first seen this song! Fell in love with it so much haha. I spent 4 hours on MTV for it to come back on. It was worth the wait

  • emo fags!

  • @MrSiko11208 wooooow, you're cool -_-

Good Charolette is fuckin amasing, without a doubt.

  • @MrSiko11208 emo? are you retarded? its pop/rock punk! Its people like you who ruin society

  • looking back at how cheesy these guys used to be :P Either way I still love when they started taking on a tim burton-like style, and even now I can still relate to a lot of their songs, including this one <3

  • The only Reason I study Physics is to make a time machine and get all those days back ! no1 wants to go into the future .. whats the deal .. maybe it's gonna be more shitty than it already is !!!!

  • best of Good Charlotte

  • I always get chills when I listen to my old playlists full of these legends!

  • NOOOO... viejos tiempos! the first EMO VIDEO! =)

  • CLASSIC

  • @2rockandrollprincess do you know Three Days Grace to that is just an epic band and Panic! at the disco and My Chemical Romance

  • Comment removed

  • one direction advert on a Good charlotte video.... fuckin disgrace

  • Good Charlotte is not 'Emo Sh*t' You don't know about their past do you? This song is about their dad leaving them. He left when they were 16, so don't categorize them into emo, because it's not their fault. So just leave if you don't like it!

  • @Crushgirlrox I think these are more like hm punk? , well it's no shit, I like when songs are writting about something real and not just short words about sex, drugs ect

  • @Crushgirlrox Plus they are also Punk Rock they even said it on Kerrang!

  • @Crushgirlrox I actually believe that this album was just a little emo, just because of what they're singing about. But other than this, they're not emo.

  • I just remembered this song and just knew somehow people would be saying this is back when music was good.

    It wasn't, haha.

This isn't much different and they aren't rocking really. At all.

It's a pretty cool song if you get rid of how they dramatize it all, with their 'emo' crap.

  • know when you want to go back in time is one thing, but when your heart begs to come back just to relive this season is something else. I so missed this season.

  • Wow I'm seeing all these comments on these videos and I totally agree with you guys. The early 2000's music was so, so much better! I was a little kid by then, but now I'm discovering all those awesome songs and bands, and I hate those biebers and gagas and my favourite band is Sum 41 (they rock!! :D) And I'm a GIRL.

  • @Rc20cA sum 41 comes from my City Ajax. ontario Canada ;) the bass player dated my friends sister

  • I miss this music <3

  • 0:08 the bunny from donnie darko. anybody else see that?

  • @MrWillzIAm Ohh O__O It is

  • I wish i was a teenager back in the 90's and 00's or the style of music back then, is the same now. Along with the energy and culture.

  • Long story short im 13 and one of the only people at my school who still listens to G.C and all the kick ass rock music because in my opinion mainstream music sucks Badly~

  • i have to say that when i watch these videos from the 90's and early 00's and the comments you guys make, and to which i relate sooo much, about missing these old days, memories that come to mind brought by these tunes, it's like my heart really gets squeezed in here, nostalgia is a really strong and deep feeling. I fucking miss those days too and I come to realize that my younger years were the best ones!

  • the only worse than bands from the early 2000's being gone or forgotten, is that I was born in the mid 1990's so when this music was around I was too young to know I was missing out.

  • i miss the old days :/

  • Give that house, I'LL LIVE IN IT!!

Give me the rose....AND IT'LL STILL BE BLACK.

Give me GC, and they won't see daylight for a week.

  • Remember back in the days when MTV was only music videos? And blink 182, good charlotte, and sum 41 where the shit? and when nickeloaden was the shit and had the best cartoons. Now this generation mostly consist of music of sex, drug, women, and alchohol. I just wish i had a time machine, the 90's where the shit, i wish i wouldve stayed there. Thumbs Up if you can relate.

  • @AtticusWarrior nothing wrong with sex and women

  • @AtticusWarrior damn right!!!!

  • @AtticusWarrior

i love how u just named some of my favorite bands. lol

It's funny cuz the current generation is more of my generation, but i relate more to the 90s generation.

  • @AtticusWarrior i was born 94 so I was really young durin the times you describe but still, as a little boy remember much fun;) , and as a teenager belonging to the new generation, it kinda sucks, especially the music (I write my own songs...cuze the shit you hear these days becomes sooo boring:/)

  • @AtticusWarrior I totally agree that the 90's were the shit, although blink-182, sum 41 and good charlotte were most prominent in the early 2000's.

Nickelodeon has totally gone to shit, but thankfully we have the 90's are all that programming block at the very least

  • @AtticusWarrior the good old days.. :(

  • @AtticusWarrior dont for get greenday

  • @AtticusWarrior dude all i listen to now is my old cd!!! music noe sucks ass

  • @AtticusWarrior I was born in the mid 90's so I don't remember everything but I remember when I first heard Good Charlotte, I was like 5 and I fell in love with them. Now you get Teen Mom and Silent Library, stupid shit like that and no good music. I miss those days already

  • @AtticusWarrior Amen :')
