another good money saving tip is to push back your due date for bills the farthest back you can, without paying penalties. call em up. you can also call your cable co. and threaten you'll leave. watch how they give you a credit. also, put gas in car on wednesdays, not weekends. also, leave debit card at home unless you plan on spending. it'll avoid impulse buys.
dudette, i thought you're shirt said "_itch", but it says fitch. phew!!!!!!!! where are you at? hotel or dorm room??? you deserve to be in a nice cabin in the swiss alps. if i could, i'd take you there...

You can take a jar or a container and at the end of the day Dump all the change you have from like the wallet, bag, and etc. Probably two weeks or a month you can cash the coins in for actual paper money. I've been doing that system and it really helps. And you really save a lot of money.
@gdog066 5. When shopping, take all the $1 from your change and don't spend them. Once at home, put the dollars in an envelope until the envelope is full. Once it's full; save it or spend it.
6. For U.S. only: Go through your change and separate all the Copper pennies (Pre-1982) from the non-Copper Pennies (Post-1982). Save the Copper ones and spend the rest; they're just Copper coated Zinc.
@gdog066 7. If there is something you want; save money in an envelope (Mine says "Jackson Model RR1" on it & the price "$3,000"). Once you reached your goal, take the money out of the envelope and seriously ask yourself if you still REALLY want that item ($2,500 left to go).
8. Shop at a thrift store. Today, I found a package of 5 Hane's white T-Shirts factory sealed for $3.99. These sell for $11.99 at my local Target. You will never know what you will find and searching for it is half the fun.
2 things slow cooker cheep and effective number 2 set aside a cash balance each month so your not useing your credit or debit card so much the little hidden fees can be like death from 1000 paper cuts
i'm 19 and for me the biggest thing was to leave my debit card at home, after i got it i found that spending money just became WAAAAAAAAAY too easy. So what she mentions is to keep a certain amount of cash in you wallet and that'll be for the entire week, this is going to be something i will be doing in the future so that if i spend my weekly amount of money then too bad. Thanks for making this video ! :) great stuff
Great video! If you want to learn more about this topic read Money and Budgets: The Honest Roadmap to Financial Freedom by: L. Burke Files. It will help you accomplish all of your financial goals with real information and knowledge. No gimmicks!
The best way to save is to make more and to pay yourself first. Have your income direct deposit into your online saving account first and have auto-deduction to go to your spending account(s) to pay for bills and expenses. That way you don't have to worry about not having money put aside because you are already putting money into saving. It is reverse psychology just like using cash is harder than just swiping the card. When I use cash, I rarely ever spend because I hate having pennies back.
One thing i do is that i put water in a bowl when i wash my dishes, in stead of letting the water run. And just leaving it in the sink for daily use, putting some new in when ever it doesn't seem fresh. It saves alot of money. Also i use a sponge to clean my things, it gets around better and it uses more of the soap. When i use the brushy-things, the soap seems to fall off faster.
I can't write more here, but i have sooo many ideas :D
Save your change. Put $10.00 bills in an envelope, mark the envelope vacation or whatever your goal is. In time you will have a few hundred dollars. I like $10.00 bills because they're not so common so you're less likely to need what you're saving.Try more than one supermarket. Meats and certain fruits and veggies are cheaper at the Asian market. Go to the regular market for things you can't find at the Asian market, like tortillas. Keep a money diary. It helps to know where your money is going.
@TheJess1984 also reccommend using cash. I'm not a fan of credit cards at all. With a credit card you'll spend money you don't have and get charged lots of interest rates by your credit card company and become a slave to that company. Debt is hard to get out of. Decline departments stores offers to open a Macys or Victoria Secret or Nordstroms or whatever account. Save one credit card such as Mastercard just for a medical emergency or something like that.
Another money saving tip is to skip the expensive eye makeup remover, & go for a huge bottle of Johnson's & Johnson's Baby Shampoo. It works just as good, if not better. & It lasts forever.
I love those tips thanks for doing this video. A tip I always keep in mind about saving money when I am shopping for clothes is to always go to the sales rack, or buy clothes for the summer in the winter, I do that a lot and if its out of style I will spice it up with he sawing machine. I like making my own things.
Cut open any tubes and/or bottles and you save so much product! I just cut open a bottle of Aloe Lotion I thought was finished and there was a enough in there for about 4 more applications!
I always mix the last of my shampoo with water. It gets all the residue in the bottle and makes even bigger suds when washing my hair!
Most fun things to do with friends: bonfires at night, picnics in the park during the day!
I really like those ideas. Thanks. As far as makeup goes if you can hold out till winter makeup always goes on sale or they come in gift sets near the holiday season. I always stock up on things that I know I use a lot of around then and keep them in the package to either give away yearround or use when I run out.
Thats such a good idea. Also asking for stuff like that for christmas, or any other holiday you celebrate. Sometimes people don't like asking for things, but if you know they're gonna buy you something anyways, mind as well be something you want!
my tip for make up...buy them from winners

Beautiful, smart, and well spoken at the same time. That is pretty rare in young people. Keep up a good work.
Saving money is natural for me because I grew up oversea, aka poor.
