Eating/using/wearing animals/animal products kills a living being. Putting tape on a cat is just plain hilarious. Especially since it's always a well-cared-for housecat in these type of videos. If this tape can't even take hair off a cat (which usually comes off when you simply pet or hold them) it does not harm them. Just makes them temporarily confused and funny. Go get educated on real animal cruelty if you care so much.

The problem is that dumb asses all across the world will imitate this behaviour without a single thought or care for the cats, or even if the tape that they use for this cruel trick is as harmless as the tape that you are using. I could see them using much more harmful tape out of sheer ignorance alone!

Yes, fyi that Japanese brown colored tape is like scotch tape here. People watch that cat tape trick and worry about the tape was like "Packing tape ". Good thing you posted this.

Cat tape is cruel my ass! Those who complain about cruelty or BS like that have nothing better to do! Dont they realize they eat meat, or wear leather? Animals had to be killed for you to eat. A cow was killed just so the so called complainers hold their pants up with a leather belt. You heard me; killed. So why throw a fit about something as trivial as tapes on cats?

the point is that the cat isn't in pain, disturbed, or even slightly bothered. the type of adhesive used here isn't the kind of duck tape or packing tape you might think it to be, so it's not fair to call it cruel. can the cat tell me that it doesn't hurt? no, but it can't tell me that it does either, and from the reaction my cat gives me--whom i love btw--all i can gather is that it is not bothered.

You are very wrong, cows are NOT killed painlessly at all. They are first stunned or dazed by having their heads punched with a bolt gun, or given a massive electric shock.

They are then suspended in the air by a single leg, and have their throats slit and die from blood loss.

The cat, however, was mildly interrupted by having a piece of tape applied to it momentarily.
