I remember the five shows I watched from the 1960's as a three year old kid, Batman (Adam West), Green Hornet (Bruce Lee as Kato), The Amazing Spider-Man, and The Fantastic Four, and Captain America. By the time I was 10 years old I was full time super hero comic book/ action figure collecting geek because of these TV shows. Thanks for posting, good memories!

@Skeletonwitharaygun Well, to start off, regenerative power IS still a power. Sure, it's not like, Wolverine, but he CAN regenerate faster than humans. Then there's heightened reflexes, strength, and to some degrees, intelligence. Yes, he has his shield, yes, he's a symbol, and no, he's not a super human in X-Men sense, but if you actually read Marvel comics, you'll find that a lot of heroes that are respected don't actually shoot lasers out of their eyes or sling webs.
