  • I have to be one of those sisters in my school play? oh god.

  • You know the stepsisters are not that usual at all.

  • For my school, they used guys as the stepsisters. AMAZING and perfect for the roles.

  • Whomever is in this video did absolutely wonderful.

The only feedback I have is that I wish their voices were a little more different

    BUT I LOVE IT.

  • :) Loved it.

  • This si the best performence I have seen since Julie Andrews was in Cinderalla thanks so much! YOu gave me some great ideas

  • OH MY GOODNESS!!!! U GUYS WERE AMAZING WE R DOING THAT PLAY THIS YEAR and I hope that our stepsisters can be just as good as yall! :) U DID AN AWESOME JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!! U r my fav out of all the one i have seen

  • what's the matter with the hams? what's the matter with the hams? what's the matter with the hams?

  • @BernardProfitendieu Do you not get that these are comic, over the top characters? Should they have just stood in one spot and made a few gestures? Safe, I guess, but it would have been sooo boring! These girls nailed it!

  • @donna42900 duh, I get it sister ... do you not get that there's a difference between enough and too much?

  • Umm, My Middle School Is Doing This Play, And Personally, I Think, That Our Version Of This Is Better... But That's Just Me(:

  • its not how my school did it but it enhances the fact that they are annoyed with the prince and each other i enjoyed watching this

  • dont listen to the haters you guys did great

  • This is just annoying.... You should try really singing

  • hey, i am going to be the stepsister for our school play and we are to be obnoxius but, you have to SING. you cant scream this song. you can sing obnoxiosly, but screaming obnoxiously is just anoying.

  • it's so clear that you wanted to play 'cinderella' that it's sad. for the record... it's "obnoxiously."

  • ok ther supposed to be yelling and its supposed to be a complaint and there suposed to be really irritating and obnoxious. trust me my school is putting on this play this year and thats exactly what it should be like

  • mbe too much make up...but other than that AMAZING! exactly how its supposed to be! =)

  • Do you have clips from when the girls try on the slipper?

  • Lolz, It's been...prom-itized.

    They're quite funny, though.

  • they are good

  • They were okay I think they were over acting though. Plus they were kind of yelling not really singing. But good job.

  • @PandaGirl991 That's the point. (:

  • @PandaGirl991

well their roles called for over acted personalities and lack of talent, including singing voice.

  • good job! one of the best i've seen! :)

  • These girls did a great job! It was like watching real upset sisters agreeing about an argument, they didn't want to agree with each other but they both don't like they're competition. It sound more like a complaint from spoiled girls then a song, which was a good effect.

  • YAY FSPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT!

  • oh haha I loved it! Espcially the way the one dressed in orange ran at the end of the song! great job =]

  • **especially

  • it was a little to whinnie for my taste but good job

  • You guys do this song so freaking spectacularly. Absolutely a joy to watch.

  • Thanks for posting these.^^ I'm gonna play Joy in my school's performence of this, so these help me practice.

  • This is SO good. The girls should be proud for their beautiful work. I was Cinderella in mine.

  • Brava!! BRAVA!!! I am auditioning for the role of stepsister...AWSOME job guys...well girls.

  • This is so funny!

  • I'm a professional performer. Of all the high school versions of this song that I've seen, this had the best comic sense of any. It's rare that you get the sense that high school performers really get the comedy. These gals got it.

  • @klumbt You should look harder. I've seen some that are better. Not that they weren't good, but some of the notes they held for comedy weren't funny. And I'm a professional performer too but you don't go flouting that.

  • sorry but that was terribel

  • uhm no offense IT sound AWFUL remembver no offense.

  • ... which is how it's supposed to sound. that's in character for the girls.

  • lol...We're doing this right now at our school, but this is amazing! Great job!

  • umm the best version ever!! I love you both! Oh yeah they are supposed to be whinny its called being the character!

  • They are supposed to be annoying. It is the character. Read the script.

  • Well, there is a difference between "annoying" and "whining."

  • Joy is described as having "no happy light", and Portia has "no suggestion of intelligence". Joy isn't overly deadpan, and Portia isn't overly dumb, but they certainly scream a lot.

  • the 'solid' girl whines too much to me but other than that - good

  • haha i like it. but the "solid" girl was like a twig :p

  • more like what's the matter with their voices...i hated it

  • i think thats how theyre supposed to sound

  • this is so shrill!

I'm sorry but it sends shivers up my spine.

  • That was actually really cute. LOL. :)

  • im Joy in a production of this. But in our version she's Emo. LOL! This is great, but I wish they attempted some of the high notes instead of speaking them. Oh well it was really cute. :)

  • Definitely amazing characterization, and FREAKING AWESOME enunciation (I could understand everything you guys sang) but overly whiny tones at times makes it a bit grating.

  • that was annoying... annoying enough to make good characters or just an altogether bitter, annoying performance? you decide.

  • the girl in the orange sounds like stacey from Zoey 101!

  • i'm portia in my school's play! Our opening night is on thursday!

  • I really like this version...It makes me laugh

  • Lol, really cute blocking, but I think the girl in the orange might have overdone it a little. Still, both were a lot better than others I've seen.

  • wow. this idea is alot different from what we did at my highschool. (like most versions) the stepsisters followed the prince and cinderella out from the garden and sang this song after they exited.

  • love it

  • i first heard this song at my school 2 days ago and it was song by 2 14 teen year olds they r sooo good

  • Did u guys take this show to State confrences (ohio)AT OLMS becuse it thought the actors look familur

  • No, just performed a few times in Franklin Massachusetts

  • they both are great but i am doing this and i am joy i think (the one in the orange)and she is awesome!!! love the dance moves !

  • what school is this?

  • Franklin School for the Performing Arts, Franklin, Massachusetts

  • yea cause i thought at first it was a high school but the stepmom didnt look like she was in high school but then i thought it was just stage makeup

  • awesome!!!

  • 00:46 why is the cook there?

  • i was a chef when we did this show in 05. i love your majesties! good times. =]

  • This was so hammed up, like whoa- the note changes at the end of each sentence to stress it more- but the performers pulled it off the right way and it came out perfectly!

  • I wish they hadn't cut it short.. the girl in orange (Joy?) didn't get to do the other verse, "with very little trouble, I could pull out all her hair."

  • I played portia and thi swas amazing, ood job guys

  • Loved it lol I wish I could have seen it live. And I agree with the previous person. Award for best version of this song goes to you guys!

  • If this was a high school production, then it's amazing! Best young stepsisters I've ever seen!

  • This is the best version of this song I've seen!

  • I played Joy in this. We hid behind trees, because we were spying on them on the terrace.

  • Really good. way to use the whole stage

  • that was great!

  • That was awesome! Just awesome! I love this song, and that was perfect!

  • Best performance of this song on youtube? I think so.

  • I love the opening verse from the first stepsister in orange. For some reason, I feel like she delivered it just... perfectly. This whole thing was great. Good job!

  • Aha, Perfect, exactly how it's supposed to be performed!

  • haha you're good.i think you mighthave over did it the tinest bit but besises that i liked it
