This piece of music cannot be rushed. They are performing this way too fast! It is like a train wreck waiting to happen! Slow it down! Edward Elgar would be appalled!
Again, I totally agree. This is exactly the kind of music that we are slowly getting better at performing. The slower the music, the more you need to focus.

Perhaps tempo is an issue in this performance, but the dynamics are there and I can tell this is truly being played from the heart. Very nice job.

I was on the podium and I agree too! We practice every Monday evening so at times it was quite a challenge.
It was, exactly what we needed to work on - slow phrasing and ensemble.
