I can't believe BP and others want to drill the reservoir after this event that contaminated the ocean, killed many animals and damanged the shores. It's unbelievable. I'm happy there's so many people out helping to clean the mess, but do they really want to risk this happening again for $4 billion worth of crude in the reservoir? That's not right and I wish people would be less greedy and selfish and think about the ocean life and those on the shores. Get a clue people. DONT DRILL!!!!!!

The government appears to have done a great job. Remarkably, BP officials are absent - only one or two employees appear in this progress report. Were it not for our government's crisis management efforts, wildlife and locals would still be shoulder-deep in this mess. This crisis will be remembered for many reasons, among which are BP's poor crisis response, its impoverished leadership and our government's admirable efforts.
