LOL Let's get the guy, hang him upside down, drop him the water and find out if there's more bombs. Torture has mixed effectiveness so suspending Miranda rights may not mean much anyway.
Our current administation continues to give Terrorists equal opportunity to attack Americans! We cannot give terrorists the same Constitutional rights that Law abiding citizens have! Thankyou. James Sasse.
Confused by teabaggers screaming rhetoric re: the constitution and their willingness to shred the constitution when it comes to any act that President Obama supports. The most radically right pundits admit it is a constitutional right for the community ctr to be built as planned. When reminded by our President that it is their right to do so, teabaggers shift their screed to the notion that the constitution should take a back seat to their beliefs. Hate can never withstand logic.
He clearly said they have the right to build the thing, and mentioned the Constitution. I don't know whether people make the same error you're making because they choose to be disingenuous or if they simply don't know any better.
Do you suppose a Shrine, for the ' victims' at Pearl Harbor for Japanese Air Force Pilots who bombed the Arizona, would have been just ducky with the people of Hawaii in 1951; Just 10 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor?
It's not about "Can they"? Of course 'they' can.
It's about "Should they"? Out of respect.. No, they should not.
The mentality that is being addressed int his segment has to do do wth offending about a billion plus people. it has nothing to do with giving terrorists any rights. it's about the equivalent saying "christians killed us" after the McVeigh fiasco. IT's not about protecting his rights. you gotta say christian fundamentalists or extremists, but you cannot make a sweeping generalization about a huge group of people because it's offensive.
i don't think bill o'reilly is a complete idiot. but i think he knows how to intimidate people and uses it (unfairly) to his advantage. he's very tall and can get very loud and belittles the people he interviews... making him a giant dick. :D outside his own show, he tends to be more civil, though, since he has to actually obey rules pfft.
@Chamozovitala out of 13 years of programming, he only had to apologize and retract a story once for being erroneous. If by videos proving that he lies you mean youtube videos made by random people that screen all of fox's shows and pinpoint anything that can damage the network, then yes, you may find some videos that take his words out of context and make him look wrong. Opinion-wise, the only incident where o'reilly was wrong, that I can remember, was his inaccuracy on a ww2 battle (big shit).
I don't get the mentality of people who are concerned that a terrorist, who just tried to kill possibly thousands of people, is "being treated unfairly" if not mirandized, instead of trying to get information out of them about possible associated attacks that could possibly kill thousands more. What's the mindset here, folks? "Well, thousands dying would be bad, but waterboarding the terrorist who did it would be criminal!". Thousands dead, and we're worried about the freaking terrorist? Really?
@lupine73 well what if i was to consider you and your entire family a terrorist organization? What if that was the case and was a complete misunderstanding? What if this misunderstanding led to the imprisonment of your family for a prolonged period of time with all of your rights taken away? The point is the constitution wasn't drawn up in an hour; the founding fathers knew what they were doing when they created peoples rights.
Wow. Bill O'Reilly made a lot of good points here. I always said that he was the only sane talking head on Fox News (that's not saying much), even if his interview methods are almost always very radical.
@angelbrunette313 I don't think he sounded crazy at the end. If it can save massive numbers of people from getting killed, who cares if they're waterboarded. If someone is trying to have me killed, I'd obviously let them waterboard the suspect in order to get more information and try to stop the plot!
Terrorists certainly aren't real.

That's the same thing the Nazi's said about the Jews. Lighten up and stop buying into the Islamophobia that the CIA controlled media pushes.

OReilly needs to be censored. They couldn't get anyone less bigoted than him?

If "Muslims" killed 3,000 Americans on 9/11, then
"Christians" killed roughly 350,000 non -christians in the crusades
"Christians" killed roughly 5,000 "non-christians" in just the spanish inquisition
The "Chrisitian" Ku Klux Klan killed 1,937 non-white christians
The "Chrisitian" Scott Roeder murdered a one, George Tiller on May 31, 2009
This isn't a question of which religion is morally superior.
Bill O'rielly should learn when to hold his tounge.

Is the View censoring what americans think about their program ?...
Chamozovitala 1 year ago
Reason why most people hate this guy is because of his tendency to exagerate and to lie depending on the ocasion.
O Reilly has been caught lying several times and disproved with videos showing the facts that he is a liar.
O'Reilly will be nothing if not for his boss who gave him a spot in his network.
