Hi, good question. In a convertible you have plenty of air blowing around you. Below the waist you have none. The air above your waist is high pressure and has all the low pressure hot stagnate air trapped. On the NA / NB ( 1990-2005 ) you have the catalytic converter under your feet., NC ( 2005-2010 ) it's on the passenger. With the Cool Breeze Scoop it is piercing the air trapped in the footwells and exchanging it with cooler ambient air. It's usually 20-25 deg cooler.

ok so whats the point of this??? its already a convertible does it actually give you a cooler breeze?? i have a miata and would like to know.....thanks oh and good video
