You'll be able to learn to read/communicate SOMEWHAT if you study ..but speaking out there on some social level is TOugh. Also not to mention you go some places ppl only speak in phrasal verbs / slang..You go out there , u'll hear some Crazy SHiiit . Italian is one Language that u can get fast due to the fact that there is less Variety in it .

English and Spanish, although they also have American and European counterparts, are similar in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation for the most part. However, Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese differ greatly. For example, those who learned Brazilian Portuguese as adults often can't understand any European Portuguese. This would rarely happen with Spanish or English. I say REAL because I think
