@kingdomheartsruler22 The idea behind Dissidia was to include KH characters only! Disney however ruined it by telling them they won't let their characters fight against eachother... Nomura changed it from KH to FF and thus bringing Dissidia Final Fantasy into making. Sad, I know... I would've preferred KH...

Zack fought and lost against Sephiroth. So yeah. It happened in the original game and in CC. It had to be every main character from the main games, no spin offs. otherwise it just wouldn't have made sense to have Zack over Cloud.

yeh and about the fight with zack and sephiroth, physically, if cloud was able to kill sephiroth Zack would have had no problem with it, because cloud was weak. the story is scripted, which is the point on why zack indeed lost.

But by the time Disk 2 is over, Cloud has reached a point that Zack hadn't reached. Comparing the two in terms of power would be folly. Would /Could Zack reach Cloud's state of power at this point? Maybe, I'm not sure. Still, Sephiroth is Cloud's enemy, there's ALOT more hatred going on between the two.

The only thing Zack didnt have over cloud was his pure hatred of Sephiroth, thats what fueled cloud to kill sephiroth because he killed aerith.

well, i guess its not entirely true that cloud became somewhat stronger, cloud went through ridiculous amounts of pressure and feats that only made him stronger mentally and physically, so Cloud became pretty tough.

Agreed. But if you ever feel in doubt, remember that in AC; Rufus Shinra even states, "You posses the power of that which you once claimed to be". That being a SOLDIER 1st class. Also, the Jenova Cells made Cloud better, not just Zack, although I will admit to the whole mind-wipe thing. Still, I don't see Zack and Aerith being the best couple, but that's a whole different thing altogether! :D

Yep your right, he does possess the powers of soldier and much more, becuase of the experiments done on him, and the ludicrous amounts of mako poisoning hes been subjected to, clouds knowledge of the ancients is more powerful than anyones, and yes also the jenova cells inside of him make him even more powerful, but all soldiers are injected with the cells.

i disagree on the couples thing haha, i feel Zack and Aerith were totally meant for each other. like cloud and tifa.

Cloud was a creation of hojos, hes told this just before he fights hojo fo the last time. he was created from scratch, he wasnt given a natural life, cloud had a chance to beat seph, zack couldnt, zack was powerful when he beat sephiroth yeah, but he still got his ass raped, and who killed him? Thats not true though cloud was born naturally he grew up from a kid to a teen until after he was almost killed by sephiroth then hojo essentially revived cloud with his testing and what not.

No... O_o Cloud wasn't created from scratch.. XD He had a normal life in a small town. He was a lonely kid cause every other children think he's weird. He always wanted to make friends with Tifa, but those around her would always push Cloud away. So he then decided to get in SOLDIER thinking if he get famous, Tifa would finally notice her. And also, be a HERO... ^^, It's such an inspiring story... It was in FF7 PS1 game :D

Zack is dead. Cloud and Sephiroth were transported into the Dissidia world when the 10 Final Fantasy worlds merged together. The god of discord, Chaos, revived Sephiroth and 9 other villains from the other Final Fantasy worlds.

Not trying to troll. Its true. The movie was a terrible representation of FFVII. No character acted like they should have. The plot line was rushed just to try to milk the true FFVII fans for what they were worth. Same goes for Dirge. Crisis Core however was fairly decent, although I haven't beaten it myself. This is only because it was actually built around FFVII's plot line, as opposed to the rest of Square-Enix's FFVII fan fiction.

Well...when Sephiroth died at the mako reactor, he was gone for good. The only reason he's "back" was because Hojo took Genesis's body after you killed him and put an untold amount of Jenova Cells, pure Jenova Cells...Sephiroth's cells. So...the Sephiroth that you face in FF VII is Genesis from Crisis Core.

Where did you hear that? That would be a huge plot retcon. Genesis woke up from a sealed chamber in the ending of Dirge of Cerberus, the last game in the timeline, which takes place after FFVII. Weiss and Nero took Genesis away after he was beaten in CC. If the FFVII-Sephiroth was actually Genesis and you killed him at the end of the game, Genesis shouldn't have been in Dirge.

hojo didnt ever experiment on sephiroth after his death, sephiroth entered the lifestream he was dead, sephiroth was never found after his death, wat you say is horrible FFVII logic. no offense

Summons, meh, they are rehashes. The moves aren't, they differ in ways. It's not like everyone can pull off shoryukens and hadokens like nothing. There's some variety, even differences. Like Golbez's meteors and Tina's tornadoes. Similar, to be sure, but not the same. Tina's tornadoes are long and suck you in. Golbez is shorter (Sex puns FTW) and sweeps you in if you are under the blast, plus they extend at the end of their animation. Small, but different. Oh, and which hilarious comment was it?
