Black T-Mobile G1 vs. Brown T-Mobile G1

at first i thought i wanted brown, but i got black. then when i went back to tmobile one day i saw the brown on display and it was kinda ugly. the keyboard has red number on it and it looks gay

bronw is ugly, black does look cheap.. the first edition of the white g1 look the best.. full white. white buttons on keybaord with silver keyboard backing..but the first release of white g1s were recaleld becuz of paint chipping issues on the battery cover and buttons.. white chips due to the material used to make white.

I got the black, the white one will be out in Dec or Jan/Feb. The guy I talked to said they had planned for a Dec release but they say its been pushed back.

not really... i have it in white....

but really i want better games for the android market! pac man with accelerometer doesnt even work... snake is terrible especcially cuz of the little ball, bonsai blast gets boring, solitare is OK but still all other games SUCK!

I got the Brown color. I prefer the contrast color keyboard compared to the phone body.

Black is not bad but I don't like if the keyboard, keys and phone all are the same color. Brown model looks elegant. More eye catching like a limited edition. Black

I agree. The brown model has what seems to me a more visible keyboard in the day, however, with the backlight turning on in the day time as well (wish there was a censor), it's hard to see the labels on the keys in certain levels/angles of light. I wonder if that's the same on the black keyboard?

i have the white g1 which has the same keybaord as the bronze g1 and visibility is horrible. esp trying to see the red symbols and letter whenever the backlight comes on. i had the black g1 at frist, but returned it after a week for a white g1 with cupcake alrdy installed.

the brown looks more classy like for a bisnessmen or something it looks like a planner and the black is just a solid nice smooth color better for people that like plain thier is also a white but the paint chips on it and they found that out cuz the google and android workers lived with the phone to make sure its long lasting (get any ideas apple?) and found out the whit paint chipps so it wont be for pre order and wont be for sell probly for up to a month after the g1 hits stores

Personally thatz y i like the G1 because it has a keyboard i luv my tmobile wing which is touch screen also but i can count on 1 habd how may times i have actually used the stick to type using the screen i like the keyboard betta and thatz something the iphone doesnt have. I understand its different but itz not for me.I think the sidekick is garabge so i would compare anything to i. Like i said to each its own some people like keyboards and some dont u gotta get what works for u. Have a nice day

I agree, The key pad is everything I think. I mean, how much did people pay for the i-phone, and it doesn't have a key pad.

texting and writing emails using the touch screen method just doesn't work.

Plus, one thing cool with having a key pad is that they always have a combo-key situation, for quick access to programs. I currently have the sidekick 3. But, My G1 is on the way! This is going to be fun! A must for every security guard! LOL.
