I use the ASIO with a relatively high sample rate. I have a medium quality soundcard and a triple core processor. Together, they seem to get the job done, but I still have to optimize to save CPU. I guess that's just the way things are :) Thanks!

I think the sound your thinking of is a variation I did on the "voco" preset on the sytrus synth. Just mess around with the envelopes and see what sounds you can come up with!
