@Ivsitiwdr @ IcewolfFenris Absolutely seconded. I love the sound and the feel of this song; I don't think I can describe what I get from it without sounding like a pretentious artsy f***er :P
Crusaders is an awesome album, i have the physical cd at home...Estampie is a side project of the german band Qntal, and Alexandro guested on this album which features music wrote around the time of the Crusades...
What language is it? He has such a beautiful voice, but why can't he stick to singing in languages I understand? Next time I look, he'll have done something in Chinese, for all I know. And when was it recorded? It is nice, though.
It is an old french language. Language from XIIIc. He recorded a CD with Estampie. They sing together songs from crusades and medieval times. I don't know when they recorded the CD. Search it :)
@Barhwald Very well. I did some research and this is what I found. Mr Veljanov worked on two CDs with Estampie: 1994 "Ludus Danielis" and 1996 "Crusaders ... in nomine domine". This song is apparently of the latter CD, where he actually sang more than this one song. I never listened to the others, as yet, though! :)
