  • I just thought that it was unusual that the tanker was used as an attack pumper but to each his own.

  • these guys are just like the guys from the neighboring volunteer fire department were i am from.... they suck. i mean really, no bunkers or SCBA's on or anything? many houses in our district and the other guys distric have been spared due to our great work and efforts.

  • @SuperLaw911 Don't break you arm, patting yourself on the back.

  • F-

  • Wow! I can't believe nobody was killed. Nice equipment but it's a shame nobody knows how to use it. Not to mention no turnout gear, and terrible job keeping bystanders and firefighters away from the downed wires. Just because your in a rural area doesn't make it ok to not follow sops or basic essentials of firefighting. SMH!

  • A blitz fire or deck gun on that tanker might have helped. Would have been nice to see how much fire they could have handled before the engine arrived. That one handline made a decent dent in the fire.

  • Now THATS a tanker!

  • Nice video!

  • If you can't come off the truck with an SCBA use a cigarette instead. Notice the beer shirt at 4:54.

  • Excellent job done as it looks like a remote area. Never seen a water tanker that big before. Very impressive.

  • "Live wire right there buddy ho!"

  • dam tha tanker's huge

  • That Tanker is cool never seen somthin like that before :D

  • sweet tanker......we simply don't have those types of vehicles here in Eastern Ontario

  • Awesome Tanker

  • up until 3:28 i thought maybe the department only gave firefighters bunker pants

  • I was told to come watch this video, and I am very concerned. I understand you are a small company, but from the company I come from, our truck never leaves if the driver does not have the quailfications. Your driver should know how to pump the truck before they are even cleared to drive it. We also never leave with an under staffed truck, and if you are not able to pack up, you are not on first truck. I would be embrassed if this was my fire company to say the least.

  • @lowereastfire They aren't the worst on YouTube, but the "Chief" needs to put on a turnout coat, he just doesn't look professional. (I know, looks aren't gonna put out the fire) Don't know who the old guy is, but he doesn't belong on the scene without gear. The Chief should've positioned himself in front of the wires (on the road) to better prevent that close call. I hope the tanker was just closer and not the first truck out the door.

  • @lowereastfire you should mind your own business you know-it-all asshole. These guys are doing the best they can with what they got.

  • @lowereastfire if you bother to watch the beginnig that truck seats two and both were pulling hose and getting the pump started and then were fighting the fire. these two guys did more than most big city depts. do like several vids i see in here waiting till they get 3 or 4 trucks on the scene to even charge a line. most small town/rural depts care more about saving their neighbors property and lives than satisfying some union requirement.

  • @lowereastfire what most departments, especially volunteer, have to deal with low manpower during the daytime hours, and there are always going to be drivers that have difficulty pumping, especially if they haven't if they havent been to a fire in a while- sometimes as a vollie you get what you get

  • Nice video. I love the tanker. When I first saw a tractor trailer arriving on-scene, I wasn't sure what to think. We don't have those sorts of things in the southeastern US commonly that I've seen.

  • Jonny solo on the hose there has it about put out before the 2nd truck got there.. KUDOS to that firefighter!

  • @lightpaws25 I geuss you missed the smoke pouring out from the interior, that fire was far from over. Good knock down on the exterior though. And good God thats one big tanker!!

  • One of our neighboring depts here in the PA burbs has a similar tanker haulin 6500 gallons. Pretty bad ass truck!

  • I have to say that is one bad ass tanker!

  • The tanker carries 8,000 gallons. They are quite prevalent in that area.

  • @delfire50 how much do the trucks and engines typically carry? if at all?

  • That is a beautiful tanker. I have never seen one quite like that. Great knockdown, looks like it was a cooker. Good call yelling "Live wire" at everyone else too.

  • Hell of a knock down for 1 guy on da line....Good Job..

  • I had no idea they made water tenders that big!

  • I have to say that is the coolest tanker truck i have ever seen. I bet its a pain in the ass to back in the bay though.

  • @pilot4life15 dont know about your driving ability with large vehicles, but when you drive something of that size all the time you get used to it's size. i have been driving large vehicles for almost 30 yrs and have put trucks and trailers in places with 1/2 inch on each side of it. it's just being used to your vehicle.

  • Have enough water in that first tanker there? lol. Just joking.

good job on that attack boys!
