  • Great video!

  • Thank you all for your comments regarding my sixth grade teacher, Mr. Lee.

  • This is a good re-recording. I enjoy good re-recordings, It's refreshing to hear another version/take sometimes. In a way, it's like listening to a live performance.

  • When I pick up an oldies CD, I make sure it says "Original artists and original songs" or something similar. All too many are "New stereo recordings by one or more of the original members of the group."

  • 1957

  • I still remember Mr. Lee -- 6th grade teacher-- a cold, stiff, humorless man, who actually looked very much like the original tv version of Clark Kent (Superman) crying at his desk when the 45 rpm record of 'Mr. Lee' was played by his students (The Bobbettes). He was in awe, broke down and wept. And became then the sweetest teacher at PS 109.

  • @Panbaccha Good Story Man.

  • @ForlornAlbionDreamer .... Thank you.

  • @Panbaccha

    Great story!

  • @steveknows62 -- Thank You! It was almost yesterday for me.

  • Not the original from the late 50"s but a good version too...with the Bobbetts singing again
