  • Al Cabal,as I watched Kate and William's wedding,I had the same thought as you- I did not laugh out loud, but it was hard not to!

  • I love Victor Meldrew, hence my screen name. Most people here in the US have never even heard of this show or Victor. But I love it, and that makes me better than almost everyone else, lol :-)

  • watched this episode yesterday on gold

  • Lol! They sang this hymn today at the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, all I could think of was this episode, had me in stiches ^_^'

  • @AICabal Me too!

  • @AICabal My exact thoughts were "Isn't this that song from One Foot In The Grave?"

  • hahahaha got all of the eps on dvd when watch this i nealy peeed my self laghing lol

  • One foot in the grave wouldn't be so successful if it wasn't for mrs warboys.

  • I don't believe it.

There's one Honda owner who doesn't like this!

  • Absolute classic. My car,s been in the garage lots of times this year and I,m waiting for a CD to be left in the player. Maybe next time.

  • Mrs warboys really cracks me up with all the funny comments she says

  • Victor 4 prime minister

  • One of the funniest moments in the whole series. It teaches you a lesson, never ever complain to car mechanics or they'll record a song about you.

  • Dear Heavens it's the old norman bros blues band

  • Classic!!

They hold a tune quite well don't they... for car mechanics...

  • @grimTales1 Ay! We can sing! :(

  • love this programme. shame they cant make another one. they shouldnt of killed poor old victor off. legend. love it.

  • @vteckicksarse I read a recent interview with Richard Wilson where he said if David Renwick wanted to bring the character back, he'd love to do One Foot again. He was killed off, but these days prequels to films, and whatnot are all over the place. Just make new episodes set in times before Victor dies. I have no idea what David's thoughts are about bringing the series back though. But Richard Wilson is open to the idea of playing Victor again. I doubt it'll happen, but Id love it if it did!

  • @AngelicStorm1 yeah couldnt agree anymore.. such a credit to british comedy. top quality.

  • Someone needs to remix this into a proper song.

  • My favorite episode!!!!!!!!! God Bless Vicotor!! I still have to dry my eyes with laughter over this one. Thanks for posting!

  • LOVE IT

  • Cried with laughter! My word!

  • One Foot In The Grave, Only Fools and Horses and Friends are probably the most consistently funny sitcoms of all time.

Fawlty Towers and The Office were also very good, but only for 2 series.

  • THIS, and only fools and horses... what a treat it was to have them. There isn't anything that comes close to those two classics on the TV now and there hasn't been for years. Legendary classic comedy

  • Brilliant classic comedy 5 stars easy

  • OMG

  • rofflmfao

  • Great post!! Mrs Warboys - 'they erm.... hold a note quite well dont they....for car mechanics?? Comedy genius. Is it Eric Idle (he who sings the theme tune) singing the Honda song?

  • One of the best clips in the whole series. I wish Richard Wilson was better known here in America. He is a bloody genius and this show is one of the funniest I've ever seen.

  • i don't believe it!

  • one of the best comedy moments of all time. LMFAO!!!!! thanks 4 the upload.

  • "They hold a note quite well, for car mechanics." LOL

  • Eric Idle singing, very funny - great series!

  • i dont beleive it people gave this 2 stars classic comedy

  • they hold a note quite well- how funny is that !

    'Bread of Heaven.'

  • The Victor Meldrew Honda Song" LyricsSung by Eric Idle and John Du Prez

    Full Lyrics:

There's a bloak we can't stand any longer,Always on the bleedin' moan. Every time we mend his bloody Honda,He starts groaning on the phone.

First, we fixed his car's ignition, Checked his brakes and clutch and then, Overhauled his whole transmission.

He just brought it back again.

    Victor Meldrew,

    Victor Meldrew,

He can stick it up his bum, up his bum. He can bugger off 'till kingdom come.
