@SukisMom 110db of pain tends to get dulled down when recorded by a small camcorder, converted, uploaded to a website and played back by small speakers.
wonder if there is a device out there that will emit a harmless response if there is a sound over a certain decibel or frequency, that teaches them not to scream. (My Mom had to find foster for our cockatoo because his screaming drove my stepdad crazy ~__~)
@webwawa you would run the risk of turning it into a game though. even reactions that we intend as being negative, she sometimes thinks are just beginnings of a new game. she really is as dumb as a rock.
@webwawa Spritzer bottle works for me. :P I don't recommend it if you use a spritzer for bath time, as you'll be confusing the situations. I set mine to squirt and I use it from across the room to interrupt my B&G. I just do it if he screams when I'm in the room. I let him do what he wants when I'm away, so that he has an opportunity to get it out of his system. :)
doesnt sound TO bad on my end -- Im sure Im the luckey one :P

@SukisMom Plug in ear buds (not ear phones, mind you) into your computer and turn up the volume. I'm sure you'll get the idea rather quickly. ;)
This is what I call the fire alarm imitation. My B&G does a single, longer tone rather than the shorter, repetitions that Ivy does.
