I'm glad to hear from Mayor Cordial that he's not that gong-ho on growing and developing too fast at all cost. Many paradise had been lost and destroyed because of that. Remember that in paradise there are snakes also that you have to be careful about. There are good tourists and bad tourists. Locals should have the option of kicking out any tourist who is behaving badly which is bad for business !

visited the place with family 3 yrs. ago before survivor. I hope they will not turn those lovely islas into another Boracay. Keep the island as is, pristine like paradise. People of Caramoan, don't allow plans for a new Airport and other destruction to the natural habitat of your island to occur. The promise of improvements and economic prosperity is just a farce. Only the rich will get richer and your generation will suffer from enviromental catastrophe.

Taga dyan ako sa area na yan. Magkakadikit ang garchitorena,binagasbasan,cara­moan,. ....maganda talaga ang lugar na yan. Diyan ako ipinanganak. Naaalala ko pa nun kapag namingwit kami dami ko nahuhuling isda. Sayang nga lang winawasak ng mga taga sa amin. Talamak kasi ang illegal fishing dyan. Sana mabantayan ang lugar na yan. Sayang kasi. Tama ang sabi ko noon kapag natuklasan ng mga turista ang lugar namin sisikat ito.

yes caramoan is beautiful, i'm lucky 2 experience it. the grim truth however, to make way for the survivor production & to develop d island, people are being forced out of their homes and paid a measly 5000PESOS. let's hope politicians handle Caramoan responsibly. don't ruin this heaven on earth. 2 the people who lost their land & homes, my heart & prayers goes out 2 u.

Pag sinabi ng mga Pinoy na "i-develop natin ang place", it only means na sisirain ang natural beauty ng lugar. "Development"for Pinoys mean endless cement,cutting-down of trees, karaoke joints,beer gardens, ugly stuctures,billboards etc.When I was in Caramoan, the caretaker in Gota beach said that mabuti pa ang mga foriegners malinis at hindi nagkakalat.Ang mga Pinoy sobra mag- tapon ng mga basura everywhere. Sad.

you know why? because that's how it is here. when you eat in mcdonald's for example, you have to throw your thrash and clean your table. i think it's how people there should learn to protect the environment.

well, kanya2 pananaw iyan. everything has it's own face value ika nga.. d good, bad and ugly but pag dumi or kalinisan ng pinag uusapan, edurne1 must be right, it's SAD coz kitang-kita ko when one of LaPlaya guest came back with his jet-ski at may dalang garbages; plastic bottles, etc left by some local tourist nag island hop din. I'm so impress and thankful with Jun Simbulan & co. who did a heroic job na pulutin ang kalat ng ating kapwa. Wag sana po nating sirain ang sariling atin!
