This is the biggest and the most amazing ferret cage I've ever seen! I love the shelves and the soft fluffy tunnels! Great job!! Now I'm inspired to move things around in my ferret cage:-D
I have the same purple food toy for my Jack Russell and he has a watter bottle like that too lol. Except he chewed up the wire cord that kept the bottle in place

Do they smell bad. I want to get one but my mom says that they smell bad? Is it safe to use air fresheners around them for is their something that is safe for them?
DUDE!!!! I saw that you have newspaper in their. If you love your ferret, take it out. If they eat it your furry friend could get intestinal blockage and kick the bucket
I am converting a bird cage into a cage for my hairless rats atm..how did you attach the shelves to the bars?? that would really help me out right now lol.
we braced it out using battoning and flat metal plates with holes in you could also use parrot perches wedged in realy tight
if you cut the shelves to the exact size and cut notches for the bars they kinda suport themselves but you must give them support ot you will end up with flat fuzzies:(
make sure you treat the wood tho as rats are incontinent and wood is absorbent and it will stink!!!
its a double parrot breeding cage that we added levels to. it only took 2 days to build they love it but cleaning out takes ages lol. we have had to downsize atm as we are having a litter of pups next month but they are quite happy in the new cage atm :)

it was expensive but worth it lol
they love the cage but it takes ages to clean
going to get some more tubes etc make it a bit more fun:)
