  • ahh nm .. i found it

  • That "View" menu is a bit confusing. There is "production fram" and "show production frame".

Let me know if you want the source file for my animation.

I had a crack at doing the animation with morph targets to make the flag look a bit more realistic, but it make the edges go all ragged. I haven't quite got the hang of that yet.

  • Hey .. when i go to View , isnt there any Option " Show Production Frame " ..

I Also Tried to make it with the Key Combination CTRL + Alt + F .. doesent worked either ... help ?

  • wow under ten minutes! I just need a bazzillion dollars now to get all the software used! lol

  • wow did you slow yourself down for all us newbs or does it normally take quite a while for you to make all your cool animations?

  • I tried to show each step. It would probably be a bit quicker without the narration, but not much.

  • Well I've always enjoyed the animations you put in your videos. I just didn't realize how much work went into them :D

  • awesome!!! n_n

  • Wow, that's impressive.

  • You couldn't tell me how to do that in Motion, could you? I don't know how to use most of the Final Cut suite, to be honest.

  • I'm not familiar with Motion, only the packages that I have.

  • Woo. Spooky. I just came over to this page, saw your reply and thought: Hmmm, how come I haven't had this in email. Then the email arrived, and I see you replied 1 minute ago. We are intergalactically connected. There's the solid proof. Take that, Christianists (thanks Ed Current).

Sorry, I was just joking in a kind of despairing way about Motion / Apple's Final Cut suite. I know it can do loads of ultra-cool shit, but don't know how to do most of everything with it. No manual. Ought be a crime

  • I had a look on Apple's site and it looks like the manuals are available for download under the "Support" section.

  • Aw, thank you, you're a dear. I know they are, though. They're the same ones that came with the software. Apple's literature is notorious for being rather crap, and the stuff that comes with FC is perhaps the best example of their crapness. They cover only the very basics - and in agonising, unneccesary detail, taking pages and pages and pages. I don't think I ever read so much and learned so little - except for the Bible, of course.

I really appreciate you what you did though. Thank you.

  • Most of the suite of manuals is dedicated to importing and organising material in Final Cut. Handy if you're making Lord of the Rings. There's almost nothing about Motion - which I know can do what you're doing in Carrera. There's also nowt about Colour - I think it's called - the grading app. These progs are used by Hollywood film makers and I've seen what can be done. But if you wanna know how to use them, you need to find training courses. One for each app in the suite. Bleh.

  • That is awesome. You make it seem so easy...

  • wow

  • Great Job

  • cool!

  • ok. This made me feel as though I am playing

a piano with a sledge hammer:)

  • Same here!!
