I mean hell, I knew my DH from our teens; we NEVER thought we'd marry. We dated others, I moved alot to OTHER STATES EVEN! Hwr, we hooked up by chance, a relationship beyond friendship ensued, & we recently celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary! So F-that answer. What should it matter? It doesn't matter they aren't engaged anymore. They chose not to marry. It was prob the best for them. You can't fault them for not marrying when it wasn't right. He thought he found his soul-mate but didn't until I came along. Contrary to your belief, I'm rather damn proud of our 23 yrs together in addition to the 5yrs we dated/were engaged. We both wanted to make sure it was right for each of us vs rushing in. We didn't want to be a statistic & we're not thank you very much!
