Hey, I just made my own version of kakariko village on my 30 note music box. It's great but it seems I can only play a note once every two bars. Does the 15 note box have a similar technical limitation? keep up the great work, I know how time consuming it can be to arrange and punch out the notes :>

@MsDungeonX You've seen the inside of a typical music box, right? This one has the same comb of tiny metal teeth tuned to different notes, but instead of a cylinder with little bumps that hit the teeth to produce sound, the music box has a bunch of tiny metal prongs that get caught in the holes you see in video, and eventually get dragged as you crank it, to hit the corresponding tooth. Wow, that was a horrible explanation lol, but I might put up a tutorial someday showing it.

@TheRoctopus The boxes use 80 pound paper specifically, which I found at office supply stores like Office Max. For this song, I was using slightly thicker poster paper, which is why it isn't so smooth, but I wouldn't recommend trying thicker paper since it ended up making one of the plastic gears dull =/

@sticksthatstone Yay glad to hear you got one! Unfortunately, all the Mario Paint Composer files I used to arrange these songs disappeared when I upgraded to Windows 7. I used my own paper with no staff lines, so I'm not even sure what I did anymore. However, I might get around to re-arranging it and posting the sheet music for all these old songs. I'll keep you posted, but otherwise, please post any videos of songs you make! Have fun with the box :D
