  • I think the wood thrush has the most beautiful song of any North American bird. It is my favorite bird.

  • That is wonderful!

  • WOW!! Beautiful sounds indeed!!

I can't wait to get to Heaven and hear more of these sounds.... :o)

Thank you GOD for all these beautiful creatures!!!

  • wait ;-)

  • @goodoldenoch Greetings saiph84... what do you mean by 'wait'?... I am not sure...?

According to your bible, there are no animals or birds in heaves since they have no souls...Not that i believe there is a heaven or hell or a god anyway, but there you have it.

  • @Linuxrat dear friend, I am not sure what is your understanding of Heaven and of the Bible itself...!! They have no souls, so they won't be in heaven? I am not sure what you mean...?

  • This, sir, moves me to tears. How fortunate we humans are that can hear such sublime music as this!

  • wow cool sound. i like how he ends the sound . like echo.

  • Aw.... so precious!!

  • I woke up to this early in the morning the first time i went camping... I was locked in awe by the beauty of it. So i did some searching and found it! Thanks for the video

  • One of my favorite sounds of summer. My favorite is still the whippoorwill. One summer I would set on a hill in my yard motionless, and almost every evening at dusk, a Whippoorwill would fly down to this hill only feet away to sing. Amazing to be so close to such a beautiful creature.

  • I'm hearing a wood pewee at 1:13

  • My all time favorite along with the Hermit Thrush...

  • Very nice ! =)

  • Lovely video! I've always thought Wood Thrushes have one of the nicest songs (out of the birds that I'VE heard, anyways). What bird is making the 1 note call in the background at 1:13?

  • @mattzx003 - I think that it's a Brown-headed Cowbird. Also in the background at various points: Scarlet Tanager, Kentucky warbler, Northern Cardinal, Rose-Breasted Grosbeak, and Eastern Wood Peewee.

  • @mattzx003 The birdsong at 1:13 could be a veery...
