@muzakaly I agree. This drummer definitely pulls the band together - better live sound, it's not just focused on Julian's stage voice + stage presence. I think their rhythm section has always needed work, I'll go as far saying their rhythm section Blows. I'm sure the drummer would have a better input during the recording process but I think the Strokes we know (not the new albums) has always been centered around J Casablanca. It's funny the Bassist even sounds better.
