Rectify the pulses on your output stage of the coil, or where-ever you are taking the scope reading. Changes the look of the pulse and you might be able to make use of the pulses (recharge batteries, etc).
Worth a try, would really like to see how the pulses change on the scope. At that point it becomes uni-directional for a type of charging circuit. :=)
This is also the Heinrich Kunel patent. Nothing misleading there.

Check out Stan Deyo's lecture on youtube. He mentions the Lorentz O ... which is similar to what you are doing.
