@tictac666666 your a fag, i always wonder why people have their open opinion thats based souly on critism of other codes, sorts, movies anything. really? why the fuck watch a video about AFL if you dont like it in the first place. Shut the fuck up and fuck off. seriously.
@tictac666666 It's funny how an AFL marketing stunt can be taken more seriously than an NRL career... Besides, Rugby League is like Union, only not as good.
I think Sydney has done so much better getting Folau, think he has better all round athletic ability and will fit into AFL fine; I cant wait to see other players try to bring Folau down during play, should be able to fend off AFL players like nothing.
he is developing well and he has skill and a ton of pace.
I think he could play many positions i would let him have a go at ruck rover or forward or back flank he will get used to running longer distances he is a class athlete.
Hey listen Dan Merritt wa playing league or union until he was 18 and then swirched to the AFL and is a good player for the Lions, the rest of K's skills will come with time and he has plenty of it. Really disppointed with Nathan Ablett, either he is really unfit or he does not have the heart to do what is necessary to play VFL.
@KEV1N747 mate, just because they're going to the bench more doesnt mean that its easier endurance wise to play the game. Afew weeks ago at the brisbane v geelong game, i watched four lions players sprint of the field, followed by 2 more guys no longer than 20 seconds later. So that means that two guys sprinted 100 or so metres, turned around sprinted another 100 metres, then continued playing. just because they passed through the interchange doesnt neccesserilary mean that they got a break.
he is too short to play in defence, at best he would be 183.. not 185 as listed. his ball handling is okay.. he would be okay in the mids, but wouldnt have the tank to play there to start with. i would presume they will have him playing up forward probably deep off a flank, so he can run in straight lines without being the main target so he can adjust. from there he should be able to develop. one would think. his kicking is good from what we can see. will be interesting..
just needs to build his engine by the looks of it, more naturally gifted than folau. he'll be a solid onballer, may even become a good tagger if his ball skills dont improve
not even close to afl standard. him and israel will be average at best. chest marks and poor kicking. you may think his first kick is okay but it is under no pressure and most aussie rules players above under 15's would be able to hit a pass like that anyway. his build is not right for afl as well.
all just a marketing ploy. i doubt him and folau will play 100 games between them
@kevin1n747, you've got to be kidding? While the game has become more explosive with more interchanges, it has hardly become less based on endurance. 18 out of the 22 players run an average of around 15-18 kms a game, with the other 4 (avg.) running at least 12 kms a game in highly repetitive leads etc. (Think Barry hall and Daniel merrett)
@KingEldo3 And you're a trolling cunt who has no idea what he's talking about. Show me some of your figures and we'll talk but seeing as you're just starting an internet argument like a tough cunt you can fuck off.
pretty good for the first hit out. Will be good to see how quickly he gets up in the forward line and applies pressure with 2nd, 3rd, 4th efforts which he will have over a lot of guys at the moment. Won't take too many marks like that though.
@enkjrypt I wonder if he catches NRL Style... always chest mark... I guess he'll do fine in a real match. The question, like you said, is can he last an extra 40 minutes on the field. You run more in AFL than in NRL. He'll make a fine tackler
@AFLmegafan Yeh, but I noticed that he only kicked short. He wasn't the five-eighth for the Broncos, so I guess we just have to wait until next season.
Legs.

you could see him playing a more luke ball rover style . with his strength and burst speed he'd naturally fit there

His kicking is ok,but kicking long to a contest, or to a hard running lead while under pressure is another kettle of fish.

Looks pretty good, but he needs to get rid of that rock ape physique in order to have the stamina to play AFL.
mrlongaussie 1 year ago
He should really play in defence. He's quick off the mark to keep up with a Fevola or a Barry Hall and punch the ball when they go to mark it

lol your right... but i can bag him if i want to and afl for that matter. i hate to piss off his mother, so sorry.
