golden syrup is made from evaporated, concentrated sugarcane juice! corn syrup is sometimes used in replacement to golden syrup but we in canada have both! you're talking about imitation maple syrup which is made with golden and corn syrup mixed together!

@mrgutchman melts are pieces of chocolate used for baking or cooking . They get the name as they are very easy to melt.

1.) Golden syrup isn't the same as maple, maple is so much better.

2.) You can't really tell people how to pronounce pecan when 95% of things you say are pronounced wrong by most people standard

great video, just one thing, golden syrup and maple syrup are two different things, you can buy golden syrup and maple flavoured golden syrup but they are different, Proper maple syrup is not thick, it's very runny.

i like that you decided to bake pecan pie. adding chocolate pieces is a minor offense. however, adding melted chocolate is malfeasance.

Yes. Find a southern pecan pie recipe. It uses no chocolate and it uses light corn syrup instead. Much better flavor:)
