I'm a licensed ham myself. And I don't get on repeaters of any kind anymore. I either hear crap like this, or nothing at all. Ham radio is dieing. It's usefulness is nearly zero now that cell phones, internet, and sat phones have been invented. Only shortwave is useful to very few people. (sailors, backcountry explorers, ect.) I live in the US and the FCC doesn't even enforce the rules anymore.. I used to be a radio pirate. And once my license expires, I shall be again. There's no point to renew

Sounds like the 2M (vhf) repeater in LA. Its awful and makes the rest of us look bad
