  • Does this fix Killzone's completely disgusting controls?

  • I have a question about the fragnstein:

When you do a slow movement, does the mouse skip a couple of pixels?

  • @yusef2610 It's smooth. You can adjust the deadzone in the software available from Tuact. If you don't have a FRAGnStein, look at getting Tuact's AimOn PS or their new one AimOn PS Elite. I've got the Elite on order and will test it out. Otherwise if money is no object, then go with the XIM3 and an adapter to play it on the PS3.

  • works really great, just got one from ebay.

  • Mousewheel for lookup/down? Are you smoking crack?

  • i knew something was wrong in the way some people play to well in mw2 console now i know why and il join them.

  • fact is my fucking microsoft intellimouse explorer does better using a fucking CARPET as a mouse mat, then this shit does a 12x12 ceramic tile which is supposedly the best

  • don't buy into the fragnstein, it's fuckin useless, I did, I bought one from watchin theese fucking niggers make videos and shortcut em to their shitty fagco website. the controller is a waste of 60 quid fucking useless.

I am a pc PRO and i do 5 million times better with a controller, then this shit, i get like 3/18 on cod ffa with this, swap to controller, 30-3 it's all updated and everything and configured right, it pans and does the micromovements the way theese videos depict, but it jumps

  • @IC3CoLdKillAh you must be lying. i pickup the fragnstein i rape! i pick up an analog contorller i rape! both on 10 sensitivity. it depends how good of a gamer you are. plain and simple. FRAGNSTEIN OWNS I PROMISE YOU. just get the settings right. i have 2 ;)

  • Man it is gonna be sweet using this for Killzone 2, I really hate the slow controlls.

  • Keyboard and mouse rulez, PC FTW!!!!!

  • PLEASE ANSWER IF YOU KNOW okay here is my q. : I have my ps3 for 7 months and the only game I play is MODERN WARFARE 2 as you can see I play only FPS (and i play alot) and my only problem is that I cant aim as good as i want with the joystick..a friend of mine bought this 'fragFX' or however it is called ,to solve the problem, but after a couple of days it suddenly stopped working...if someone guarantees that if I buy this one ,it wont broke(ofcourse if i take care of it) I will TOTALY buy it...

  • Whats the point of these things, JUST USE YOUR PS3 CONTROLLER!!!

  • @MrClutchMedia

There is a HUGE point to this! If someone would buy a pad for Streetfighter IV, you think that is pointless too? Of you prefer the feel of the mouse (which I do) then you should be able to use it without somebody saying it's pointless.

  • I have the perfect solution! Use your left hand! ;)

  • this is terrible for lefties! specially for people who are lefties in using the mouse and normal(right-handed) with the controller. bummer, this looked kind of cool

  • Hi, can i just check on something with you? I bought this recently an think i may be regretting it as i got it mixed up with something. I know a mate who has a Frag Pro an you can assign what buttons you want with it, can you do that with the FragNstein? Cos i so don't want the L1 button as Aim, i am so used to it as the mouse 2 button from PC play.

    Thanks

    Damien

  • If the right stick aiming of a game has bad dead zone issues and laggy response times, will using a mouse solve or atleast compensate for those problems?

  • @mark2500 Bannco recently released new updates that fix deadzone problems, basically they allow you to adjust it to your liking. I haven't messed with that option yet to see how well it works though.

  • fucking shit cheat.. this is not fair against people who doesnt have this shit....

  • @arthasbr Not at all, anyone can buy one and when you have one it doesn't automatically make you own everyone you play against, you still need skill and practice to do well.

  • i hafta agree with u... in games like modern warfare 2 cuz 2 shots and ur dead, so joystick or mouse doesnt really make any diffrence xD.. but in games like halo, players flying all around u =).. i bet a mouse its better than a joystick..

  • @GrenZeiram

No playing with a mouse gives you a enormous advantage over people who use a controller.

  • @arthasbr So when someone buys a Steering Wheel for racing games or a Flight Control Joystick for Dogfighting flying games, they must be cheating too right?

  • thats not the same thing.. u know that... dont be ridiculous... everybody knows FPS = Mouse + Keyboard

  • @arthasbr Then they better get this shit. I have been playing FPS computer games with mouse and keyboard since 7 years ago, that might not seem much but it has given me enough practice to acquire much skill so now I'm always at the top or close to the top of the scoreboards. The moral of the story is when I get my PS3 and Xbox I,m gonna kick ass. And if I can get great stats on pc, then people without a mouse will be dead in no time. Everyone start practicing with mouse now so you will pwn ass.

  • Does the controller use batteries or it can be charged?

Also, most of my headshots, especially with sniper kit in KZ2 are lucky shots :P It's impossible to do with the damn Sixaxis!

So since you've started using it, how'd your perfomance change?

  • @DaveTE15 It uses 2 AA batteries, one in the nunchuk the other in the mouse. You can use rechargeable batteries in it, you just can't charge them while they are in the mouse and nunchuk. My performance has improved, but I'm really not the best FPS player, but I have more control with the mouse than I do with the Sixaxis. With Borderlands I can get headshots really easy with the sniper weapons.

  • @GrenZeiram How long does the Battery last?

  • @eduvc123 I've had batteries last several months and that's been with me playing at least an hour or so a night. I haven't been able to play as much lately, but the other day I tried the controller out, probably about a month without playing, and the batteries that were in it were still working.

  • @GrenZeiram I still wish it would charge the battery while playing. If I buy this I would get rechargeable batteries and play on a desk (PC style) anyway. So I wish there was the option of playing wired and charge the battery while playing that would be nice.

  • @eduvc123

    FIVE THOUSAND YEARS!!!

  • Hi, just wanna say the fragnstein is very good, i have a FragFx V2 & just got a fragnstein last week, both are excellent, but the wireless makes it for me, not had any lag or issues with "smoothness" etc, both are equally good to use, the mouse on the Fragnstein is quite a lot better than the FragFx, tho, i do prefere the sensitivity dial on the Splitfish over the "functionbutton/then/mousescroll" on the fragnstein. but tbh, it's not an issue in use..

  • It seems that the only people who really hate the Fragnstein are people like "MikeyAgent" who set up accounts specifically to rip it. If you watch the various video reviews you will see that the only one that really rips the FnS is posted by someone that WORKS FOR FRAGFX. The more I read the more I think the FragFX people are crooks.

I bought the FnS right after I read the reviews at Amazon (for both FnS and FragFX). Fragnstein rated better by real people, not just the reps from the company.

  • frag fx v1 is possibly the best one, funny enough splitfish aren't making them anymore, v2 sucks compared to v1 and pro is a nightmare, worst piece of shit ever.

FRAGnStein requires you to use specific firmwares but it's still not quite where frag fx v1 is, which is a shame but in all other games fns does very well, the two best choices nowadays is FRAG FX v1 or FRAGnStein the others blows, don't go near them, so if you find a shop where frag fx v1 is, and it's not used, get it! Else get FNS

  • I hoped this would make the ACOG scope killer on an M16 or Sniper, but it actually made it worse, small lag/jerkiness when moving diagonally was horrid.

  • I implore those of you who are considering this to not waste their money. Great idea and for hardcore PC gamers, mb this will work. I'm doubtful.

Nunchuck - uncomfortable, no finger rest

Sniping is a positive. Easier to hit small parts sticking out, but if you're trying to raise the scope from an enemies feet to their chest, forget about it. The jerky diagonal movements through it off.

Tested with Expert MW2 firmware on MW2.

  • Take what MikeyAgent writes here with a grain of salt. He's just set up his account today, and is only bashing the FRAGnStein. If he could prove with a video he has problems with the FRAGnStein, then his opinion might be credible.

  • i noticed how laggy it was @ 0:20

the fragFX v2 is probably the better buy.

but fragfx v1 is considered the best... too bad its discontinued

  • @StephanieHua

No lag really, have you seen the other videos of the FnS by other users?

An online store is selling v1s that are in v2 bodies. I got one and it works great using firmware 3.0a.

  • I'm kind of tempted to buy the Stein as I have both V2 and Pro from SplitFish but I want to know whether the Stein has lag problems as it's wireless like the Pro.

  • I have not had any lag problems.

  • i got v2 and stein and the v2 is crap compared to the stein i have no lag issue whatsoever but my dongle is abour 10 inch away from the mouse

  • @MrViking96 Yes, there's an "F" button you press along with the R1 and it will activate. You can also change how fast your rapid fire on the FnS config.

  • Yes

  • how about FRAGnStein vs XIM1??????

  • @PC2XBOX360 If I had the XIM I would make a video comparison, but I don't own one.

  • @PC2XBOX360 I had the XIM1 and I'd say go with Fragnstein. XIM1 its like super customizable and you can't just plug and play. You'd have to find really good settings to enjoy it. I spent hours and hours trying to get good settings but was never too satisfied. People post their settings on forums but it wont always work well for you. FnS is intuitive. Only nice thing imo about XIM1 is that you still keep the mouse/keyboard set up like a PC. I also have a review on FnS if anyone wants to see.

  • just got the fragnstein.. first of all it works awsome.. way better then the v2 i had which broke after 6 months. the mouse is pure quality. the only trouble i had was getting the driver and firmware installed but now that i know how to do it its pretty easy.. any questions about installing firmware or driver message me

  • Man o man.. I have a fragfx v2 and it works ok.. cheap as fuk and a little choppy but it gets the job done.. the Main issue that i have with it is that i have moved the mouse around so much that the wire coming out of the mouse is starting to break.. i took the mouse apart and put some electrical tape on the wire which fixed it for about 4 days.. now its starting to malfunction again.. Honestly im done with splitfish (crappy quality).. Fragnstein looks like the best bet

  • thank you

  • how much did you get this controller for directly to bannco?

  • oh thanks GrenZeiram. i decided to buy a fragnstein after seeing your review, its on its way as we speak.

i was just wondering your setting cuz i noticed alot of topics on the bannco forums about the fragnstein being less than perfect with kz2. im sure youve seen them cuz your pretty active on the forums there.

  • could you enlighten me as to where you bought your FragnStein at? I can not find it in stock anywhere.

  • i got it off ebay from a seller names xin8xin. it was about 95 shipped. pm them asking if they have anymore.

  • looks pretty smooth, can you post your settings ingame and mouse and the FW you used? thanks!

  • @vote4pedro111

The settings at the time I did this video were as follows-

Firmware: Original Firmware before Bannco started releasing Firmware versions for the FnS, so maybe 1.0 or 1.1?

In-Game settings: High Precision movement checked, and vertical and horizontal settings were one notch below the highest setting.

  • @vote4pedro111

On the mouse, I had it 2 or 3 clicks on the scroll wheel, right where the screen started to scroll.

  • What game is that??

  • I used Killzone 2 for the review.

  • does it vibrate?

  • @leon0083

    It does not vibrate.

  • that would suck on a mouse xD

  • Fragnstein controller is back in-stock on amazon and ebay!... Ships out of California.

  • not on amazon

  • To any1 who wishs to know this is 100 times better den tha frag sfx Ive recently bought the frag sfx an its useless you cant micro aim an the mouse is way 2 big this is defo ur best bet if u want a controler like dis

  • do u return it or keep it,,i mean what if u return it r they gonna give u ur money back?

  • Well dey better lol its completely useless the only 1 game i can use it is gta wen auto aim is on an tats jus bull$hit i got it 4 MW2 an its funny because dey basically made it 4 tat game an i cant use it! but seriously man steer clear of the SFX or get it an leave a hate comment on der page like i did lol SPLITFISH = A SCAM... an coming up 2 xmas inal dey have no shame imagine gettin tat on xmas day ! You wud snap!

  • i have no idea how to return it, but its fine, i learn my lesson oh they siad dec 18 new firmware update for frag pro so fingers cross

  • well ive just sent dem a very stongly worded e-mail about it and also how 2 return it so IF dey write back ill let u know wat 2 do if u want m8

  • great much thanks bro

  • Well m8 i e-mailed dem an guess wat no response so looks like dey screwed us but its funny wen i e-mailed em about the delivery time i got 1 back straight away so unless tat firmware u said about works we basically got scamed

  • oh man no respond that bad bussiness, wow the company in switchzerland what we gonna do about it , they must laugh at us now.

  • m8 ive done sum lookin around an it seems were not the only 1s who have had dis problem i read on a fourm tat splitfish jus seem to ignore any1 who complained about ithe SFX which seems 2 be every1 so m8 its seems tat unless the new firmware coming out sorts our problems were basically screwed.....

  • awesome controller.

keep with the good job with firmwares dudes.

  • Question: is the Frangstein responsive to small mouse movements? Like when you incrementally move the mouse to aim with the sniper rifle in Killzone 2 - does it respond?

I am asking because I recently purchased the Splitfish DualFX and it is pure garbage. It does not respond to slight movements particularly when snipping.

  • I have the best luck with firmware version 1.7 with KZ2, macro movements work really well. I tried version 2.0, it wasn't bad, and the new "expert" beta firmware designed for MW2 is aweful for KZ2, but the beta was designed for MW2 which it works great for that game.

KZ2's movement controls are "funky" compared to other FPS games, so the FnS isn't perfect with it, but I do play KZ2 exclusively with the FnS and am very happy with the performance of it using firmware 1.7.

  • does the fragnstein have a charging port like the fragfx pro(dual sfx frag pro) does? which one would u recommend?

  • @sct911

No the FnS does not have a usb charging port. I use Energizer rechargeable batteries. While I use 2 of the batteries, the other 2 are charging in the Energizer charging station, so I always have batteries available. Fortunately the FnS is very battery friendly, it takes a long time before they are drained.

I don't have a SFX Frag Pro, so I can't really give you an answer on which one to get. I am VERY happy with the FnS.

  • Great video. I was just wondering if you have used the new splitfish dual frag fx pro wireless and if you have what your opinion of it is.

  • @timskikz

Can you make a video of what is wrong with your FnS or maybe contact Bannco support? See my "Vs" video I have the opposite results than you do.

  • Comment removed

  • one cuestion, when do u upload more videos ??? we love your videos of fragstein...

  • @carlosat1977

I plan on doing a few more, it's just a matter of time and what to do next!

  • bro, how much did you pay for shipping when buying directly from bannco

  • @meudeus110

At the time I ordered it, it was a preorder from Mlani, but they disappeared and came back as Bannco. The preorder was $79 US including shipping. It shipped from Canada and came to the US. I don't know it the cost is the same now though.

  • wow another comment. BUT ENEYWAYS frag fx i just read that their going to sue those companys for copying there controllers and there making sure that they will be put out of buisness so that means there wont be eneyupdate for franstein eneymore

  • I've not heard that, where did you hear about it?

  • Well if that is the case why not order it before it's too late? As it is fragfx 1 is the only mouse I use. Version 2 flat out sucked depending on the game. My friend just got the FRAGFX pro and hates it. He says it is too big for his hands and the in game skipping needs a severe firmware update.

  • does it have turbo like the frag fx??

  • @jrcfoxtrot13 Yes it does have a turbo/rapid fire option. To activate it, you hold in the "F" button, and then click the R1 button and turbo is on. Hold in "F" and click R1 again to turn it off.

  • oh yah and also can the granstein plug into the ps3 to charge like the new frag fx sorry for asking so meny ?'s

  • GAH, the Reply and the Remove button are too close together!

    jrcfoxtrot13 wrote:

thanks for replying im not sure what to buy now though this or the new frag fx pro thats coming out on the 30th. of this month does that fragnstein do turbo on all buttons though? im going to spend ahit ton of money on this i want the best of the best

  • @jrcfoxtrot13

From what I know, only the R1 & R2 buttons are turbo, but heard they are working on a firmware update to address all buttons in turbo.

  • No the FnS does not have a USB cable to charge the batteries. It only takes 2 AA batteries, one in the mouse, one in the nunchuk. I'm on my second set of batteries, and I've had my FnS since August, so I think it is very battery friendly. I've put my second set in on the beginning of Nov. and I plan on seeing how long they last for me.

  • I'll be buying this thanks to your reviews. thanks!

  • What the fuck can I but this shit! It's fuckin sold out everywhere! GOD DAMMIT!!!!!

  • wassup GrenZeiram man they all out of stock, what going on?

  • Not sure why they are all out of stock! Maybe its popular and sells out quickly?

  • Thanks, then I am gonna buy this: )

  • Does this work perfect on Call of duty ?

  • Yes it does! Check out my other video, I use COD WAW and show how to configure the mouse for FPS games.

  • ok where can i get this controller? can u help me plz

  • Check out bannco's website and they have some links as to where you might be able to get the FRAGnStein.

  • so it doesn't feel as much as a cheap piece of crap like the FragFX? I got the FragFX and it didn't feel good to use for Killzone or Resistance. Tho I bought it knowing that it was probably gonna be best for CoD4. When I got it tho it was so cheap feeling. Like I could easily break it and the trigger on the nunchuck part felt like it didn't even fit on properly.

  • Definitely does not feel cheap. I'm very happy with the quality of the controller.

  • Cheers m8 for the vid!

  • I just got mine and it works great except you have to push very hard on the L1 button for it to register. Hopefully this is a fixable problem. Thanks for the reviews.

  • Hi dude! Thans for the review =)

  • Hey thanks for posting the review.

Ok i play COD alot and the stab button is R3. Where is the R3 button?

Is it the right click on the mouse?

  • R3 is the scroll wheel, just push down on it, and it will click like the R3 button on the DS3 controller. It takes some practice to get used to it!

  • Ok you just turned me away from it. lol, i was just about to order it.

You need the R3 button handy,

I'm going to order the Splitfish Dual SFX Frag Pro, it's wireless aswell.

    The button's are programmable.

  • You can reprogram the buttons on the FRAGnStein, so you can put the R3 anywhere you want. If you get the Frag Pro, post up a review.

  • the hell u talking bout dual sfx pro from splitfish. iz that shiet even exist, lateest from splifish is fragfx v2

  • it exists, don't be stupid. try searching for it and you'll see. it's also on the splitfish website. won't be coming out till a lot latter in november though.

  • haha my bad pro its exist hehe ops

  • is the R1 button like a real computer buttom or like frag FX:s R1 button? ( little sluggish ? ) please message me back !

  • The R1 button is like a real mouse button. The mouse is a top quality build. There is no "cheap feeling" about it to me. I got rid of my FragFX because I didn't use it anymore after getting the FRAGnStein.

  • By the way, not sure if it has been mentioned here but the sixaxis function of the "nunchuk" can be used on the PC too; imagine realoding the weapons that way! :D

  • For those wanting to get more info, there is an interesting thread about the FragNStein going on an spanish gaming forum called ElOtroLado.

Just search in google for "review fragnstein elotrolado".

After wathinc this video review and reading the review on that forum, I'm getting the FragNStein for sure. Hopefully I will be able to play KZ2 the way a FPS is meant to be played.

    Que ganas, jeje :D

  • LumixTZ7, your review is good, although I had to read it through google translate! :) Glad you like your FRAGnStein.

  • Oops, I have yet to buy the FRAGnStein; that review was made by some user in that forum. Sorry for the confusion.

  • I paid $79 including shipping.

You can email the guys at bannco's site and see if they are still selling them to the ppl that had preordered them and maybe they would help you out.

  • how much did you pay ? i've looked at bannco site but they're not selling directly to customers.

  • Some questions pertaining to the FragNStein:

    1. Hows the overall quality and firmness of the mouse (FragFx was utter crap)?

    2. Does it perform better than the FragFX when comparing the overall experience with games?

    3. Hows the sensitivity? I know the FragFX had a little scroll that you could change the sensitivity with quickly, but it was really hard to fine tune it to each game and it felt "sluggish".

    4. 2000 DPI really make a difference when you compare that to the FragFX or PC mouse?

  • To iNnOcEnT974,

    1. The FRAGnStein's quality is excellent. It feels like a high quality mouse, and it is not light at all, like the FragFX.

    2. I say yes it does perform better than the FragFX. I'm very happy with the performance of it.

    3. You can adjust the sensitivity by holding in the F button and rolling the scroll wheel. Once you figure out your setting, it's a breeze to set up for any game.

    4. It's hard to tell if laser makes a difference over optical, but I think it does.

  • Whut, my PSN is Frag-n-stein...

  • Kewl, you're now famous and have been immortalized by them naming this controller after you!

  • I think that one video review made by zdd isn't so REAL to be compared... I prefer to watch users reviews because of the imparciality but it's my opinion... as i said before FragFX works ? Yeah it works but there are other things that you have to consider ...

  • just watched zdds vid again on the FFXV2 and there are some smoking head shots...

  • that sounds great - this whole thread was seeming a bit bizzaare and sadly lacking in any helpful details.

  • What kind of "helpful details" are you looking for on the FRAGnStein? I'm about to clean this thread up to posts that are pertinent to the FRAGnStein.

  • Yeah i could do it later, because now i'm at my job. I think that FragFX works like a charm but my problem with this controller was with the quality and the support. My FragFX stopped within 2 weeks and i have no support from Splitfish in other hand we have FragnStein with an amazing quality and with a good support. I'll do one simple review about that working with BF: 1943 later ...

  • bobrz - since you have a stein can you post a video? - I have seen dozens of great videos of Splitfishs FragFxv2 in gameplay - It looks incredibly high performance as an FPS controller - but I have not seen any other video of the Fragnstein.

  • BotCry and others.

I've have received my FragnStein today, and the only thing that i want to say is. THE QUALITY IS AWESOME. I'd one FragFX in early past, but the quality and the support are the worst that i ever had. zDD pro is just one employee of Splitfish in other words: He receives money or support to say that FragFX is better, but in fact he cannot say about it because he never tested one FragnStein ( poor guy ). Let's think, how can he judge without know the other product ?

  • I've been looking to buy this, but can't find it anywhere...

  • You could try bannco's website, and email them to see where you might be able to pick one up. They may have them available.

  • Yea, I checked online retailers (amazon, etc) they have a profile for them, but they're sold out.

I have the FragFX v2, I'm pretty happy about it, but I prefer wireless, I have enough wired stuff in my room lol.

I'll keep searching, thanks for the response.

  • @ BotCRyMann88:

There is a wireless FragFX Pro coming out in a few weeks, which has a 2000 dpi mouse btw. :-)

  • Someone should post an advance video of it working, since it was shown at Gamescon. Did you ever get the batteries replaced on the two wireless controllers from Splitfish at Gamescon, so people could see it working?

  • Actually, both the FragPro and Evo was in fact working, we had two demo stations at Gamecom. During the one video interview I had, I was waiting for replacment batteries since I was using it all day. :-) There will be a video soon.

  • E-mail them !

  • Great review GrenZeiram ... simple and objective !

  • The following was what "bobrz" posted before he removed the comment:

    ___________

"bobrz has replied to your comment on FRAGnStein Video Review:

When someone tries to argue with zDD, the only response that came from he, is: I challenge you ! I'm the best in COD4 with FragFX.

zDD what's the biggest difference between FragFX V2 and FragnStein ? Give us your opinion about the pros and cons...

Don't try to challenge everyone just to show how good you are with FragFX."

    _______________

  • Here is my reply to that question from "bobrz" that I posted below:

First I find it funny when other people try and tell me what to do, and not do. So, if I feel as though I want to call somone out and challenge them, to see if they can back up their chatter, then I will do so, thanks.

FragFX v2 and the F'nStein based from the looks of the video here (I haven't used a F'nStein..yet), is that the user tried to hide the LAG of the F'nStein has.

The FragFX v2 doesn't have any lag at all.

  • How have I tried to hide the LAG in the video, can you please point that out to me?

All I did was put together a video review (my opinion) of a product I purchased.

I'm surprised that my video has caused so much friction! :-)

  • Gren,

Just got mine. When you talk about setting the sensitivity to 6 with the wheel - how do you know it's at 6? I don't see anything on the screen with numbers when I move the mouse wheel to try and set sensitivity. Also - picture seems blurly. The booklet that came with it is somewhat limited with directions. Any ideas or info you can provide would be appreciated. I was trying to play Rainbow and also COD. Thanks

    Bill V.

  • Bill,

When you hold in the "F" button to adjust the speed, try scrolling the wheel all the way down, so that the movement on the screen stops, then what I did was move it up "6" clicks on the wheel. You should feel the "clicks" as you scroll. As you scroll, the screen will start to speed up and from there you can play around with what works best for you after you make the adjustments. HTH!

  • I just got mine a few days ago,

It replaced my piece of sh*t 1st generation FragFX.

The hardware itself feels substantial & the buttons are responsive and weighted perfectly. Its the right size & scrolling is smooth & precise. So far I cant fault it. Its just perfect.

This is what Splitfish should have done a long time ago.

  • Cool, glad yours is working great for you & you like it!

I know some people have had issues with theirs and read Bannco will release an update for it 8/26/09 in the AM, hopefully that is true for those that have issues with it.

  • Your review told us almost nothing about the controller you are reviewing.

  • I pretty much wanted to show it working and talk a little bit about it.

Most people didn't think it was going to come out, and since no one had theirs yet, I wanted to show that it was real and worked.

  • I think this controller is better than the Frag Pro. There was a video of the Frag Pro which got deleted fro some reason, but anyways, the main mouse buttons on the Frag Pro appear to be the same as those on the FragFX, which means they're not micro switch buttons.

  • I saw that video as well. I was wondering if they made it private because the product isn't out yet and they were waiting for the release after Gamescon?

  • What settings do you have it on? Mine doesn't run as smooth. I've messed with both the sensitivity of the game and the mouse for the best, smooth performance. But with the small slight movements it's too jittery? HELP!! (BTW nice vid)

  • In KZ2, I've got both sensitivity bars all of the way up and the High Precision Mode clicked on. Then on the mouse, I adjusted the sensitivity all of the way down, and then slowly moved it up (the screen will scroll to the right as you do it)and I would test it in the game until I came to a point I felt it moved the smoothest, and fastest for my liking.

  • Hey thanks, I appreciate it. And again awesome vid... 5 stars *****.

  • Thank you! I appreciate the compliments! :)

Hopefully you're able to get yours working without the jitters.

  • Even with that... from the video it looks like there is still considerable LAG!!! Have you tried the Fragstien with any other game? Also, can you compare it to the FragFX v2, if you've tried it?

  • I've not experienced any lag with mine.

Yes, I've used it with COD:WAW, RE 5, Bioshock and some random FPS demos. Bioshock needs the button remapping tool to come out to swap the R1 & R2 settings. I had the FragFX v2 and I had the same jittery movement as shown in the video "FRAGFX version 2 vs version 1"

  • the FragFX version 2 had even before that comparison video "FRAGFX version 2 vs version 1" AN UPDATED FIRMWARE - NO JITTERS. Pls note that. Thanks.

  • Cool, that is good news for FragFX v2 users! Someone should post up a video response to "FRAGFX version 2 vs version 1" showing that the jitters are gone with the v2 & the latest firmware.
