North Construction Concrete in Leeds did a nasty rotten cowboy bodge job of laying my base. They brought in ready mixed wetted concrete and then added buckets + buckets + buckets more water in the garden to make it more workable. It over-wetted the concrete causing it to sag and become inconsistant when dried. Proper hardcore wasn't even used I learnt later.. No waterproof membrane either. They won't put it right and Its wasted a lot of my money. Wished I'd have let you do mine !
boring, portland cement lol! on for commerical industrial (curbs,sidealks,traffic islands) come on guys! For residental, u should do something more appealing...like PATTERN CONCRETE. i love concrete, its such and ART to me. Need eye for detail and patience, makes a Fantastic Concrete Artist.
