My son and I have been kept apart for 5 years now with no explainable reason. I have never been charged w/ any crimes, parental or otherwise, but they refuse to let us VISIT without supervision.
My son is 16 now and HATES CAS because of this. We are trying to find a way to each other somehow despite the mounting depression weighing us down at being kept apart. Please take CAS corruption seriously.
Now go ahead and minimize and deflect or perhaps argue this is the states. We can post Canadian officials as well speaking.
So either all these people do not know what they are talking about or perhaps it is bluesturgeon trying desperately to cover thier tracks and push forward thier own job security with citizens children.
Do you think a normal person can go into someones home and remove a child then falsify court documents.... NO!!!

WOW!! WE have a future CAS worker looking at the website. Looks like she is brainwashed already!! The workers are young grads that have NO LIFE EXPERIENCE!! telling you how to raise your kids. They only hire people that are single or gay, that way there is no conflict!
How do you know what life experience I have? Don't be so narrow in your definition of student! 50 % of my class is over 30, and have plenty of life experience. I'm far from brainwashed and have no intention of being a CAS worker. As in ANY profession there will be corrupt workers, if you had a bad experience, then direct your anger to the worker who wronged you. were not all corrupt & incompetent
Maybe you should tell the other :innocent" workers to also direct their anger at thier corrupt coworkers. Do you know what happens if you tell CAS they are out of their heads. They take your children away permentantly. Educate yourself. Tape all meetings and phone calls with CAS workers.
What is it that you CAS workers don't have to be registered with the college or continue your education. Is it because they have no skills to buid on? Maybe they need to add a class ib social skills, and compassion to the coarse. Maybe you need to open your already narrow mind and look at the fact that not eneryone that is posting comments are involved with the CAS but maybe just sick of hearing about the lives that they destroy!

How much life experience does a doctor have when whey graduate med school? they have been immersed in thir studies and internships for almost a decade, and have not been out living and working and "gaining life experience" and YET.. you would trust THEM with your life?

Prior to the "20 days and nine modules" their employees have also endured four years of university in a related discipline. I assure you these are NOT random people walking in off the street!

They are hiring young people with no formal education at all in my area. They also allow high school students to supervise access visits by themselves. I have the video and audio tape proof. Sorry they have no room for you in your area. Maybe all the children have already been stolen. Look around... see any children left in your area?
You are brainwashed already. You will make a good CAS worker then. They don't even have to be a registered social worker. Whats up with that? The Only persons best interest that they have in mind is their own.

1) Invest in a recording device and secretly record every conversation even with your lawyer
2) Get a GOOD lawyer (good luck)
3) Educate yourself on the law and court procedures
4) Take Respectable advocate with you to all meetings and court appearances
5) Call your government and judicial officials continually
