@dave00dance yeah egon is like the true GB cuz he invented all the stuff they use and is the real brains behind it. plus he has a much more distinctive look then any of the other white guys, with the big hair and glasses, and his strangely deep voice. even though everyone else might be funnier, egon is my favorite.
I agree with everyone, this would've made a great addition to the Ghostbusters 2 dvd. The first one had commentary for god's sake, the second film's dvd really needed some more features
I agree. I really would have liked to have had an audio commentary for Ghostbusters II. They really kind of neglected it in the DVD release. Did it really suck that much? I really liked it.
@ddtpfri yeah I really don't understand why so many people hate the sequel so much to me i found it great and amusing plus vigo scared me more than gozer when i was a kid. it really bothers me that some critics thrashed the film and even audience members as well. but when I looked on wikipedia they said that there were many other critics who found the film to have a great plot with amusing dialogue.
@Norax7 yeah Vigo was much more creepy. It does revolve around a fairly similar plot to the original, but I still can't see what's so bad about it. Maybe people didnt like the love story so much between Dana and Peter this time around. In someways I like this one more than the first one. I do admit there was more comedy in the first one. It would be nice if they reconsidered doing a Special Edition for this one.

i really don't know why people put this movie down for its time it was a very good movie the acting was ahead of its time it is my favorite movie.

well i can explain the reason why it did not fair well at cinemas
at the time tim burton was releasing batman at the same year
as ghostbusters2 back in 1989 but tim burtons batman film grossed
higher than ghostbusters 2 and it did not get high acclaim than the first
ghostbusters film maybe if the released ghostbusters 2 in 1990 than
it would get higher reviews so blame tim burton for this.

the film was ok but the disc just needed some features badly. I hate when a dvd boasts "interactive menus" and "scene selection" as special features
