This movie was amazing. I just wish they would've told what happened to the other CB members and important ESF soldiers. Also, why is everyone saying Setsuna should have been with Feldt? At no point in the series did Setsuna even hint that he was romantically interested in her. He isn't even interested in Marina in that way, they just care deeply about one another -_- Kids are always jumping to conclusions.

what the fu-... kind of ending is this? I was so pissed off at this movie... I was like, everything was perfect.. until this movie came out.. EVERYTHING! Gundam 00 was the best AU Gundam IMO. the music, the battles, it was all so perfect! WHYYY! Why did this movie ruin such a good thing -__- also, what is up with Setsuna at the end? like, did he go ELS on us? what exactly was the purpose of ELS? it might be better but right now everything sounds so stupid to me. I should watch this in dub.

If he's happy. All of us fans, should be happy as well. I mean he grew up as a child guerilla soldier ( lost alot of friends, as a kid,) An fought, joined Cestial Being, and fought an lost a good friend ( Neil Dylandy.) After achieving peace with the world, had to go with the ELS to help them, from the crisis they are having... Not a single year in his life, did he take a break, an achieve real happiness for himself. That's bull$hit, unfair, now he has it, and all is well. :)

All is good except the fact that they didn't show what happened to the other members... Like it's obvious for Tierria, he's mind is inside that system, alliluia** went to marry that chick but what about every1 else? Lock On could have went with Feldt :D

Personally, I found this movie was directed HORRIBLY. There were huge plot holes, a bad ending, more questions than answers, the uselessness of that grey-haired guy who I can't even remember because he was THAT unimportant (seriously, he didn't do anything in the plot...), the bad character development and romances, the boring battle scenes, and the mindfuck ending/epilogue. This movie ruined the Anno Domini era.

@YouNeedAnime or rather than fighting, come to a mutual understanding of each other...if the events of first two seasons had not taken place humans would inevitably been overwhelmed by the aliens trying to fight as opposed to trying to understand one another

@YouNeedAnime It's still not an excuse for why they made the movie terrible. I'm ok with Sunrise taking a new direction and introducing aliens (however non-gundam that may be), but the whole execution of the idea in the movie wasn't that great. As for Gundam Age, I can't be so quick to judge it, lol. I haven't watched all of it yet, only the first two episodes.

@YouNeedAnime I'm not 'usually' one to compare, I just things the way they are. That being said, the fact that worse movies compared to this one exist isn't of relevance to me. The movie itself still disappointed me, nonetheless. Also, in my personal opinion, I don't really think it was one of the best Gundam series, and I've pretty much seen them all except for Victory Gundam. However, I did enjoy most of it.

Well, they said during a meeting in the movie, that Ribbons was partially "made" from E.A. Ray's DNA. It is similar to how Mina Katagiri's similar appearance to Nena Trinity is also explained by the fact that the Trinity siblings were partially created from Carmine family's DNA. FYI, E.A. Ray name is a reference to Amuro Ray, whose original japanese voices were done by the same actor.

Maybe it IS metallic but it emulates the feel of organic skin? Setsuna as a human knows how real skin feels like and that "metal" is part of him, after all. Therefore, he can probably change what he feels like to others.

Same here. They could have become a couple in the movie and had sex for Feldt to be pregnant than When Setsuna went to the ELS home world and made peace with them, Feldt says that she will live on Earth with their child. And in 50 years, an Elderly Feldt is with her granddaughter name Sora as she chases her pink Haro and meet her grandfather who is a hybrid and she doesn't know who he is and tells her that he knows her grandmother.
