When I used to live in Los Angeles during fire season we used to see the Canadian "Super Scoope'rs" fly over to Van Nuys airport and twice we saw this Monster of a plane come flying over low & slow... amazing sight!!
Some of the murders by the German BND known to the public:
Uwe Barschel (politician), Jürgen Möllemann (politician), Heiner Gehring (author), Martina Pflock (political activist), Tron (internet activist), Karl Koch (political/internet activist), Bernd Seiffert (human rights activist), Kirsten Heisig (author/judge), Fritz Bauer (persecutor of the Frankfurt Auschwitz processes), Markus Bott (human rights activist).
Google the names and check out my channel and homepage.
even though I do not read German, I couldn't help but notice a reference to Russian Leader "Vladimir Putin in an SS uniform" and another reference to Osama Bin Lladen".
Perfect backdrop for a truly awesome flying boat. Still on duty, serving a different purpose long after the Hughes H-4 has been consigned to a museum.
I LOVE amphibes ! I first flew them as a USCG AD3 HU16e flight crewman in the 70s. I also operated the radar looking for bships pumping they,r bilges on the Great Lakes and doing overdue searches. In 77 I switched to the HH52a Sea Gaurdean helo, anouther amphib and did rescues at USCG AirStation Miami,fl. ! In my opinion the dumbest thing the CG did was dicontinue the use of amphib helos. the japanese still do and use modern versions successfully. Semper Paratus Ya,ll.
Uhhh, Dude the Mars aren't amphibs, they are true seaplanes. They have special dollies built to haul them out when nessesary for some maintenance but they normally are water bound. They don't have landing gear like th Catalina's.
Wo ist den andere? Where is the other Martin? Wie schade das ander auchnicht für Publikum mitzufliegen! Too bad one of them is not outfitted to take the public up for flights!
i love living here. Just saw the Hawaii Mars (the red tailed one) flying over town today on its way back from Vancouver. So glad that Coulson Aircrane bought them so that they could stay here in our town.
Odd, isn't it? People all over the world are incredibly impressed by our Martin Mars Bombers, yet the vast majority of Canadians don't even know they exist. I love these birds! Long may they fly!!
