It's more or less a metaphoric game. At this point Garcian gives a damn about politics, he only visits the school to get clear with his own past. Maybe Garcian just kills the Director to gain access to the hidden passage behind this room but to him it appears like they play a game of luck(which looses it's complete meaning since Garcian already knows he wont loose.) I guess the scene means that even if you control politics you can'T control the people.

Some of you are missing the point.

Garcian himself calls the bluff - Keane is trying to trick him. Keane uses a gun with seven chambers, so that Garcian would assume, after five rounds, that there was one bullet left and his only options were to shoot himself, or to kill the President.

That being said, it's a brilliant metaphor on SUDA51's part for there to be a gamble - from the very start, it's ridiculous that either party could deliver their end of the gamble - in a fair game, that is.

It's equally as wierd and convoluted, and does it all with style, but the gameplay is more fast-paced and has more humor and focuses more on social issues than political ones like Killer7 did.

I think No More Heroes is a more brilliant game, though, just out of how much fun it pokes at all the cliches in today's society. You even play as an Otaku, how cool is that?

Whats kinda cool is that Garcia only pulls back the Hammer...if im right on Revolvers, they only spin their Chamber when pulling the Trigger, so you are on the save side as long as you pull back the hammer, after your opponent survived.

Nah, the cylinder revolves every time the hammer is pulled back. In double-action revolvers the hammer is cocked back and released with the trigger, but it's a lesser pull of the trigger if you manually cock the hammer.
