  • Where is the pretty girl that I saw on the video tag??

  • give me all your money and i'll tell you what you want to hear...MUPPETS

  • In the Bible before Abraham&Moses the people were of course not Christisn but they were neither Jews but had the same God of the Jews&Christians!!!! This folk religion of the God of the Bible has excisted before Abraham&the Jews til recent times into the 20th century!!!!

  • Religion of the Bible is 3 not 2, Christianity,Judaism&a devout monotheistic folk religion of the God of the Bible. This aspect is older than Judaism&excisted into the 20th century, but is found thru the Bible,ex.(Adam til Abraham, Job in Job,Corneilius in Acts ect).Books--Eternity In Their Hearts Don Richardson, also Arthur Custance has a book on-line ready to read. This monotheism was the first religion in human history but most fell away from it, some held it til recent times FYI

  • How do people believe this stuff, it is so obviously made up. There is this thing about those who talk to the dead, they are definitely cheats, I think most of them are atheists. The thing about other superstitions is I can quite imagine some fool really believing that what they practice has some basis in reality, not this one.

  • Good stuff! Richard Dawkins is very far ahead of most people! They are genetically not very evolved and still need religion or some authority to tell them what to do and when to do it!

  • Europeans&Orientals have 2 things in common. A high degree of atheism in their populations&a deathrate higher than the birthrate.Whites&yellows are to die-off drastically during this century, especially the whites Blacks(especially in Africa)&muslims are exploding&there is not much atheism amoung them&future conversions most likely a trickle. So a large bulk of atheist will die as whites&yellows die-off this century Interesting as the 20th century progressed atheism rose but births dropped more.

  • In 1949 when Mao&the communist came to power in China there were 1 million Christians Mao was gung-ho on wiping out all religion in China After 63 years of an iron-fisted policy against religion there are 130 million Christians&converting at a rate of 30000 a day Mao wiped out much illiteracy but as literacy increased so did Christianity Hey atheist China needs some atheist missionaries to reconvert those Christians back to atheism Any volunteers? Any? youtube cbs news Christianity in ChinaFYI

  • In 1970 I was 14 in the 8th grade. I had a schoolteacher Mr. Morrison who in the summer of 1969 was part of a group of Christians who smuggled a suitcase of Russian language Bibles into Moscow. His story on how they prayed that those Bibles would be not discovered by the Russian/Soviet customs agents at the Moscow airport was "awesome" It proved to me at that time "God anwsers prayers". These people risked being sent to a Siberian gulag because of their love for God&the Russian people Loveisbest.

  • In the former USSR1917-92 atheism/evolution was taught daycare-university The Bible was banned&it was illegal to teach it to kids Within months of the fall of the USSRin 92 the Bible was put back in Russian schools Olga Lutsenko an atheist was the one behind it Death threats made her leave to Canada in 96&she is a Christian now She is on youtube&I support her work financially putting Bibles in Russian&Ukranian schools The Bible absent 75 years, but now back in Russian schools 20 years AmazingFYI

  • There is another aspect of religion of the Bible than Judaism/Christianity older&excisted into the 20th century Bible-Adam-Abraham,Job in Job lived centuries before Abraham but had the same God Corneilius in Acts was neither Jew/Christian,nor pagan, heathen, nor infidel but was devout This devout monotheism folk religion was the first religion but most fell away but some held it til the 20th century book-Eternity In Their Hearts Don Richardson Also Arthur Custance has a book online 3not2 in Bible

  • John Wycliffe1330-1385 translated the Bible from Latin to middle English1382 He felt the Bible should be in the tongue&hands of the masses He risked his life In 1442 his remains were dug up&a trial was held condemming him His bones were burned to powder&dumped in a river I read his lifestory&I have the book Evil men in high places kept the Bible from most clergy&all laity over 1000 years Many Christians&atheist don't know this Many think that for 2000 years there were always Bibles for everyone

  • The Bible has been accessible to the masses less than 500 years William Tyndale1498-1542 was the first to mass publish Bibles using a printing press in 1525 Before it took 10 months to handwrite a Bible His Bibles cost a man a week's wage He smuggled them to England from Belguim He was a wanted man betrayed&caught, tried&executed in Brussels1542 I read his lifestory&I have the book Tyndale also spoke 9 languages The path for common Bibles waslong&bloodyMany Christians&atheist don't know this fact

  • Voltaire the famous 18th century French atheist/infidel said that within 100 years of his death that Christianity would be extinct,he died in 1778. Voltaire what happened? Sorry you're 100%wrong 0%right History has proven you wrong What say you atheist? book-Evidence That Demands A Verdict Josh McDowell

  • @RonSafreed People are still believing in the god of nothing! Us atheists are totally right and religious believers are totally wrong. I have never seen or heard a ghost or a god or any other supernatural being. When i was a child i was taught to believe there was a god but I started think that if there is a god, who created him? (or her or it) It is a big lie and the ideas have become basically genetic. most people do not challenge it because they are afraid of retribution which is genetic!

  • He looked at the fat lady and make a pretty good assumption that her mum was also fat. Maybe her mum even used to attend the church. It's all bullshit guesswork.

  • He asked a fat women for a story regarding stomach condition, after trying to aim for coronary disease?

And he says it's not cold reading?

  • 3.25 - banal questions - pow

  • If that lady was smarter at 2:51, She would understand that dude just called her fat.

  • this guy must be seriously fucked up in the head to know what he conjures up in his mind to be complete bullshit and enjoying the fact that people are believing what hes saying...sad

  • @askdjflasf Dr. Michael Egnor (a professor of neurosurgery and pediatrics at State University of New York, Stony Brook, and an award-winning brain surgeon named one of New York’s best doctors by New York Magazine) is quoted: “Darwinism is a trivial idea that has been elevated to the status of the scientific theory that governs modern biology.”

  • Comment removed

  • @NephilimFree When Dr. Egnor discusses things he knows nothing about, his ideas lose their efficacy. Being a "Dr." gives one insight into being a "Doctor." It gives NO insight into the realities of evolution anymore than it gives him insight into the working of string theory.

  • @coco7010 "realities of evolution"

    lol

So, molecules bumping into each other can create the intangible, massless, abstract constructs of mind we know as algorithms, linguistics law, information, and human language (punctuation, syntax, grammar)? Because these are properties of the genetic codes. Have your delusions buddy. Enjoy them. CYA

  • @NephilimFree None of these things you mentioned exist in REALITY. They exist only in the human mind. Find an algorhythm on a map or with a telescope. Can you show me where "Linguistic laws" live? Arizona? Human language? I think I saw it Crater Lake, right?

All human thoughts derive from the electrical disturbances in our dendrites. THese mini "electrical storms" produce our thoughts, or our "Delusions" as you prefer. We impose our abstractions on the physical world. Stick to what you know.

  • @NephilimFree That's right "Buddy"!

  • Lol, are you f*cking kidding me? I should get into this job!

  • I love seeing Dawkins standing among a congregation of superstitious people who are singing prayers, as though he is one of them. You know he's finding it hilarious inside his head, but he still stands politely with a smile on his face...

  • "No wonder paleontologists shied away from evolution for so long. It seems never to happen.

-- Eldredge, Niles, Nobel Prize recipient, geneticist, evolutionist

  • "To suppose that random mutations create more complex and better organisms is about as reasonable as to suppose that you can create a more complex better working watch by throwing an old one against a wall."

    -- Philip E Johnson

  • @NephilimFree Spamming nonsensical cherry picked quotes from the 5% of biased "scientists" from a text file is about as pathetic and desperate as it gets.

  • “But throughout 150 years of the science of bacteriology, there is no evidence that one species of bacteria has changed into another … Since there is no evidence for species changes between the simplest forms of unicellular life, it is not surprising that there is no evidence for evolution from prokaryotic to eukaryotic cells, let alone throughout the whole array of higher multicellular organisms.”

—Alan H. Linton, University of Bristol bacteriologist

  • @NephilimFree Hey look nephilim is quote mining! Hows that K2 boundary retard? DO you have a job or just have a hard on for dawkins? Oh and classy not letting people who disagree wit you comment on your videos!

  • “In fact, over the last 100 years, almost all of biology has proceeded independent of evolution, except evolutionary biology itself. Molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology, have not taken evolution into account at all.”

-- Dr Marc Kirschner, chair of the Department of Systems Biology, Harvard Medical School

  • Dr.

  • poor darwin .. he tries but i belive one day he come to see the light....

and he knows in part already the folly and ignorance of mans religions and ways.. based on tradition and emotion and not wisdom knowledge and truth..

that in this world there has only been one sure source of knowledge wisdom and truth...by the God of isreal who is also Christ Jesus ! no such religious claims of ignorance and folly can be put on him.

  • the sound is totally out of sync.

  • Wow. The sound is terribly out of sync here. Can you re-upload it?

  • It's quite obvious isnt it - if there was anything to it then he would be 100% accurate. No vagueness, no leading questions etc. When a medium 'picks' you in an audience you are filled with anxiety (partly because you don't like the attention, or perhaps your sceptical). Anyhow, as the process 'plays out' you feel under increasing pressure to go along with it. The medium knows that if he's had 5 mins with you...you won't back out.

At best its entertainment. At worst it fucks people up.

  • When Dawkins leans his head slightly back and to the side with his trademark face of disaproval while listening to paranormal stupidity, you know a shitstorm is coming afterwards.

  • @juampan lol

  • I feel stupid already by watching those "spiritualists" for 30 seconds... I can´t imagine the brain damage those triple chinned english illiterates have sustained already.

  • why dont the spirits just say clearly im, say james wong, my wife is over their and i will tell you everything 100% accurate

  • lol fatty = stomache condition.

  • Richard Dawkins not singing at the congregation is probably the funniest thing in the world............. except irational faith of course

  • And, there's something about a name...and it sounds like 'Deval, Devo, DDDevil or something like that -__-

  • That guy is literally lying through his teeth. Scum. I don't think these people are dumb, they're misguided, ill informed, and all of them heartbroken, and he is playing them for saps. He is literally scum.

  • @Roflcopter4b ....sorry...but just becuae he's lying doesnt mean the people aren't stupid.....they are incredibly stupid.

  • @Roflcopter4b Money is a big motivator.

  • :53 to :57 AGH CHINS

  • out of sync about a sec?

  • How many people came here due to the face in the thumbnail?

  • I don't know whose worse, the guy pretending to talk to dead people, or the audience for being stupid enough to believe his horseshit.

  • Charles? Jimmy? Timmy? Something with T or J?

Died of heard failier? Something in the chest or torso? Kidneys?

Your father? Grandfather? Oncle? Oncles best friend? Anybody?

    ...

Oh, your aunt who lives in Charleston has a lung infection? Yes, that's gotta be it...

  • Comment removed

  • Why so many dislikes? =s I'll assume it's due to the quality of the video rather than the unquestionable rationality and common sense of Dawkins...

  • cold reading, 100 %...

  • lmao from Charles, she didn't get anything. Then he went from a man to a woman (50/50 chance), and with a large build, no sht, the woman he was talking to was a fatass, there's a good chance they're related to another fat person (genes and environment).

  • Sync is out.

  • @edga69 I noticed XD

  • Don't get it do you ? Well let me explain.

This is in the direction of religion/ spirituality and every goverment on earth wants a religion to be exepted as OK ( even by aithiests)

The populace must numbed, dumb non thinkers.

HAY! pollies are only doing what big buisiness tells them to do.

  • Blending of thoughts? OMFG there's Vulcan invasion!!!

  • Can't I play with the other realities just for fun?

  • "psychics" are "fucking stupid"

  • such bs cold reading

  • This is like FAILblog

  • can't dawkins just answer this question? "Where this world came from "?

  • @tarik102001 he does

  • @tarik102001 He could answer the question with something that he just made up which has no evidence, like what a religious person would do. Or tell the truth - there is no evidence for how the world began!

  • watch Derren Brown on cold reading and psychics. He openly says he is NOT a psychic in any way yet does the best "reading" i have ever seen! thus proving it has nothing to do with spirits or anything.

  • @theUKatheist Which is why a lot of believers charge him with actually having powers but pretending he doesn't to cause trouble

  • The music in this seance church sounds like a circus lol

  • What an unbelievable pile of steaming crap this cold reading is. It is absolutely amazing to me that anyone believes in this. And sad.

  • Harry Houdini had a personal crusade to expose people who gave seances. And he did expose many of them as frauds. Many of them used assistants to make sounds, that were supposedly people returning from heaven to talk with their relatives.

Harry started this crusade after his Mother passed away. He believed the charlatans were taking advantage of vulnerable people and he was quite right.

  • 4:40 Tits!!

  • This is worrying

  • @drscribe Why is it worrying ? This has been going on since ancient times .... but I do understand and there is not much we can do about it.

  • part 2?

  • charlatans and confidence tricksters...disgusting human beings

  • Surviving death is just obvious wishful thinking to me.

  • Ey Langer!

  • Those crazy Charles' always talking to the mediums after dying

  • "It's been proven to me... *against* my rationality" is a self-contradictory statement. Rationality desires evidence, proof. If something is against your rationality, it cannot be proven.

  • Lol - "Does anyone know someone with the name Richard? - I'm also getting a Durkin or Darking or Dawkin or something like that ..."

  • 5:47..dawkins.."you really believe it?"...."seiously,you really believe it?"...you know he wanted to smack the exploitive dickhead, and should have.

  • dawkins is the man

  • I love Richard Dawkins' troll face at 3:38; it's hilarious.

  • 469 enemies of reason.

  • Bloody mugs, spiritual bridges, give me a break! ... Charles?, Davenport? sounds a bit like total bullshit to me!?!

  • Fucking C4!! Stealing part 2.

  • Im agnostic and hate how many religions claim to have an all loving God yet they treat athiests, gays, and other religions like shit. The only 2 religions I have some repsect for are buddhism and hinduism

  • @Knirvana795 I am right along with you on that one.

  • mediums crack up !!!!! haha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What a load of crap honestly. You have people like Darren Brown doing all these tricks, really complicated tricks and explaining it's all cold reading and this guy actually has fallen a victim to his own scam.People who believe in god, superstition and also who believed 21 may rapture are simply idiots. They're so lost in their desperation to believe a man made religion which blinded them for centuries.

  • Is there life after death? idk. maybe there is, maybe not

but i certainly don't believe the medium (craig hamilton-parker) is sincere.

i think he's fake and just wants people's money. just my view.

  • @USZgxc151orbital no it's not just your view, it's reality

  • LOL stomach condition.......and saying it to some woman whos massively overweight.

    The guy is a genious........

  • video audio disalignment kills babies.

  • Dr Dawkins is a true hero!! It's because of people like him who dare to declare themselves in public, people like us find courage to do the same.I am lucky enough to to live in a world where a true liberator of mind nonsense lives.

  • 6:30 lol! that's how i felt when in church :D hahaha

  • It's just a pity that English isn't my native language so I can't explain sufficiently how much I respect Dr.Dawkins than any other scientists who won nobel prizes and how much he have improved my life. It's the most great honor to live in the same century with Dr.Dawkins.

  • @playerentrance

for a non-native english speaker, you speak english pretty well, and better than many native english speakers at that. lol

  • BOOYAH! Just felt like saying that. Join The Zeitgeist Movement.

  • GASP, my name is Devin! He must be talking about me! I knew he could hear me!

  • I don't get it. If a con man scams an old woman out of her pension with a bogus get-rich-quick scheme, he can be brought up on charges of fraud. Yet obvious hucksters like these "spirit mediums" are allowed to operate with impunity.

  • 0:54 chin donut for the win

  • i believe i have a unicorn that shits monteray jack burgers names fred. you cant disprove it, he just doesnt live with me he comes by when he feels like it to give me fresh burgers...hahaha

  • Look how they put religion down. But ask any of them (scientists) how to stop the many problems and issues of this world, and they don't have the slightest idea...

Psalms 14:1 - "The fool said in his heart, 'There is no God"

    May God enlighten you.

  • @jesus7es7dios7 many problem and issues of this world ? thats Polotics..Look without science u wouldnt even have the luxury to share your view on youtube. Without Science or Reason and the thought to question the fundamentals Do You think theres democracy in this world? The freedom to say what you want? Everything changed, look at what religion has brought during the medevil times? without the french revolution and great phillosiphers then Who question the church dogma. you may not exsist.

  • @jesus7es7dios7 oh yea and religion is the best way to solve all the problems in the world right? hmm here's a global issue that we must face, how do we stop religious extremist from performing suicide bombings, abusing women, crashing planes into towers, beheading homosexuals, stoning adulterers, ect. do you really think we can solve these problems with more religion?!?!? if you really think that than your way of thinking is not only insanely stupid but also incredibly dangerous.

  • @jesus7es7dios7 what has god done to solve the problems in this world? all ive seen is religion creating wars.

  • @jesus7es7dios7 Uhh, okay. How does a poem validate the existence of God? Or destroy the credibility of scientists and workers of reason? I'd love to understand your logic, or lack of, rather.

  • it's so subjective you can't argue against it... AHAHA whaaaaaaaaaaat?!

  • The kangaroo came over today. We had lunch with the koala and went out for ice cream.

  • Hahaha , its so frikin open it can fit anyone.

  • If delusional con artists can make good money doing the stuff they do, then delusional thinking will become an evolutionary advantage in the future.

  • My godfather was English and was a firm believer in Spiritualism and other supernatural things. He spent his life in wonder and amasment. Deluded yes, but he had a happy and lived a life of wonder.

  • @Mrsheytun There sure are, but there aren't enough :-)

  • Brother from my granny was lost 30 years ago, my auntie went to see a psychic regarding some other matter, when she was prepared to leave the psychic the psychic told her that her moms( my granny's) brother has been killed by some man. The psychic described the man that killed the brother unintentionally , my auntie repeated the description to the granny and granny recognized who this man could be by this description.

auntie never said anything to the psychic about granny's brother.

  • This medium is almost clever. He gives a common name, Charles, and relates it to a common cause of death in Britain, heart disease. He then goes on to attach another common condition afflicting the gut in more rotund people, reflux. Its ingenious to associate common medical conditions with the populations that are most likely to suffer from them.

  • I'm seeing something brown...its in a white bowl, it's surrounded by water, in a small room. It seems to have a very distinct smell that is very unpleasant...

  • @SilencingTheMachine that gave me a good laugh, thank you. ;]

  • @SilencingTheMachine Well that just goes to show that rationalists cant explain everything! For instance, how did the bull get into the bathroom?;)

  • @SilencingTheMachine

Does it have any meaning to you?Does that make no sence to you what so ever?

    :))

  • @SilencingTheMachine what are you talking about ?

  • @SilencingTheMachine hahahah awesome comment :)

  • @SilencingTheMachine Is it weed?

  • @SilencingTheMachine OR pleasant depending on who you ask.

  • 468 mediums and various "readers" don't like this vid.

  • @Mrsheytun I think he can be cloned. ;)

  • Hehe, so they're really into charades and guessing games in the after-life? "I'm getting a Charles here"...in England? Wow, it would be much more of a surprise if nobody in the room knew any charlies there...."And now I'm feeling a Peter or a William or an Elizabeth....I'm the psychic f%#¤ktard..: )

  • 0:06

Brown: Is there a picture of a dog in the hallway?

Widow: No, I've put up a picture of the family in the hallway.

Brown: Yeah, he's referring to his mother-in-law.

  • singing: "There he is... the Biggest Douche in the Universe"

  • Haha. My grandfather, Charlie DeVaney, died of lung cancer. 1:25

Even I could relate. If I were there, I would have been convinced. Damn.

  • @ThumbprintTheatrics same, I also have a hallway with pictures

  • Ahhhh Derren Brown <3

    Love both these guys.

  • wonder how much he made from that! probably over 100 people there..say ten quid each thats a grand for talking shit in a hall for a couple of hours,,not bad eh.

spondgeing on peoples grief. what a complete and utter cunt.

  • wonder how much he made from that! probably over 100 people there..say ten quid each thats a grand for talking shit in a hall for a couple of hours,,not bad eh.

spondgeing on peoples grief. what a complete and utter cunt.

  • @Mrsheytun I agree. He's a lot more easy to watch than James Randi.

At least Richard is as patient and entertaining as his is insightful and skeptical, but James Randi just comes off as a prick to me.

  • that Craig Hamilton-Parker dude is just plain fkkng evil lying cunt of a man. people like him are pathetic losers.

  • @Mrsheytun There can be. Be one yourself. :-)

  • Derren Brown is awesome.

  • At 6:09 Dawkins looks like he wants to deck him.

  • a masterfull demonstration of cold reading, then he denies it.

  • If Richard is all about evolution, then why is he so concerned about idiots being bilked by the crafty? Isn't it just another example of survival of the fittest? RD should be loving it.

  • @usenetposts Dawkins is more concerned with the progress of science and mankind...Which is why he goes to such lengths to expose superstitions as detrimental to our development as a species.

  • @hondadrvr3 Well it wasn't by people taking an ethical view like that that we got where we are today, it was down to dog eat dog. If another human has untrue beliefs, that should count against his genes in the gene pool and therefore in favour of those with their heads screwed on. So why is he interfering with that process?

  • @usenetposts Thanks for the reply! I suppose I can agree with your perspective. Made more sense to me after being reworded.

  • @usenetposts That makes no sense from a genetic point of a view. Thoughts are not genetic, except maybe some psychological disorders.

  • @hondadrvr3 Dawkins is a very bright man but a little stuck in the mud. Science is based on assumptions and is unlikely and most likely incapable of explaining it all. There will always be another 'why' question which is why the language of physics and mysticism are overlapping to a greater and greater extend over time. At the end of it there is a great 'I don't know' which some have called God or Source. This also is a point of view.

  • @claudelebel55 any assumption made by science is rigorously tested and if it holds up then yes it's supported. If not, it dies the death it deserves. Let's do the same for religion and mysticism and mediums and see if they can hold up?

  • @blacbraun most of religion is mere belief and ritual but there are mystical or religious experiences in the relative world. I have had such experiences and I have no way whatsoever of proving them to you. Even my experience of eating an apple is a very personnal one so what to do. Science will never explain it all and most people are not even ready to accept what it points to already. We are all a part of a single energetic field with no 'real' boundaries and just as I can say .... cntd'

  • @claudelebel55 ...... and just as I can say that there is no hand or foot or leg separate from the body, there is also no 'I' separate from 'you'. In fact, there is no 'I' separate from the whole of existence although we act as if there is. These things need to be looked into but if you are not willing to look and to question, no-one, will ever be able to prove it to you or to Richard Dawkins. Why ? Because he has already drawn his conclusion and won't let anything else in.
