@JTWINZCUTTY in my 85' oldsmobile cutlass supreme 307 4 door i get maybe if i am lucky 18-19 mpg/ not to good... i burn up about 1 quarter tank on a 150kilometer drive...

Does anyone know why my entire dash lights are not coming on after I put in a cd player?

Only the cd player will light up.

They worked before I put it in, I put it in right but their not wanting to come on.

Please respond asap I need this fixed.

@xBOOOGERx check the ground wires. maybe one you forgot to reconnect, or maybe you blew a fuse. check if everything is still in good condition.

@chicano67801 i dont think you can i havn't looked at a block that was made with a chevy motor i just know that in the vin if its a 9 its more powerful than the Y model either way they're very torque-y lol

I had some on it. Now I have American Racing chrome wheels. I hope to put Cragers on it in the near future. It did look nice, but I have wide tires on it now.

try canada back in the day any caprice with a 307 turbo 200 was made in canada ive never had a problem finding any parts for my 87 caprice 307

GET rid of the quardrabog put a like a 600 edelbrock on it and change the rear end use one outta of an 87 I rock thats what i did it'll be like driving a new car

Yea thats my plan. Im putting a 650 on it along with a rear from a GN.

@MsPinkDink theres nothin wrong with the Q-jet.. learn how to tune it and you have an awesome carb.. all the edelbrock is a glorified Carter AFB that sucks down gas

@MsPinkDink fuck that edelbrock carb.. those carbs are worse.. autodated Carter AFB's designs.. they suck down gas and offer decent performance at best.. they really need to be worked to get a lot out of them

He needs a regular non-CCC Q-jet properly tuned.. or a Holley 600..

@MsPinkDink It's only a quadrabog if you don't understand them. Edelbrock carbs are playskool carburetors and they still won't make a 140hp 307 remotely fast.

the 307 had two codes a Y and a 9 the Y is more of a LS kind of thing it has 140 hp and 235 ft.lbs of torque and the 9 has like 180 hp and 255 (i think) ft.lbs of torque...my cutlass unfortunatly has the Y code lol...but its still nice to own :D

Nope. I live in Ohio. It sucks that I can't drive it year round. It just sits during the winter. There were not many made of this color. Mine is all original.

Headman has them for around $150. Make sure you get them for the Olds engine, not Chevy.

Not all of them are slow. If you have them tuned right, you can make decent power. The biggest thing that holds them back is how tall the gearing is. I am going to put 3.73 gears in it next year. Stock gear are 2.08 or 2.42 I believe.

ok check dis out i got a cutlass but can somebody explain to me what is the difference really between a 305 and 307 i mean they really seem the same to me cause i got a 307 and homeboi got a caprice wit a 305

The 307 is made by Oldsmobile and the 305 is made by Chevy. They are completely different engines.

my dad had an 80's cutlass with 2 doors and a t-top. it was loaded to the top with power everything and what not. one time he got the t top stolen right off his car, cost him 1800 dolalrs to get them replaced

I didnt realize until now that you got this oldsmobile. That 307 you have in it will last you forever.....Thats the same engine i got in my Buick. My dad actually had a car just like yours but it was burgandy, and he hot it brand new off the lot and i can still remember that smell.....so nice!
