wrong, Windows XP's performance is far better then Vista. In almost everyway. File copying speed, start up and shutdown speed, gaming speed is all faster in Windows XP. The only thing thats better about Windows Vista is its GUI and DirectX 10.

They fixed how well the AI respond and how well they aim in Crysis Warhead.

Not a good play.

One of the best strategy is cloak, move near, aim head, max strength, shoot, then cloak immediately. This way you won't lose energy by firing in cloak status.

Since you're on easy mode, and the enemies can't see you anyway, why not switch to strength so it takes less effort to get a headshot?

CryEngine 3 supports DirectX 11. The graphics are slightly better then CryEngine 2. But i dont really see much difference between DX10 and DX11 anyway.

Yes you can set the game to run at custom resolutions. AA = Anti-Aliasing. Basically it makes harsh objects in the game look less harsh, or sharp/edgy. It makes things look more natural, basically.

It's one of the best games ever made. It has the most life-like graphics and physics but it's fun as hell too. But you have to make sure you have a REALLY good gaming pc otherwise you won't get the best experience out of the game.

Yes, with headroom.  At least 35fps you'll be running at....depends on the resolution of course though. On 1680 x 1050 you could probably get to 50-60fps.

Crysis Warhead is the expansion pack for Crysis, but you don't need the original Crysis to play. It's about 6-7 Hours long, but yeah, you should buy Far Cry 2. Far Cry 2 AND Crysis have amazing graphics, and both are open world.

Far Cry 2, however, has a 22 square mile map. No loading times either. :D

In half life 2 you are told what to do, where to go, how to do it, half life 2 is the interactive movie.

You can't take a left, there is a invisible wall, you can't go right, theres a couple of rocks that Gordon can't jump over, you have to go through all the slime, gunk and toxic, simply because you are only allowed to go that way.

Err, I think lonewolf didn't do the best job of explaining this. I think he meant Crysis is an interactive movie in the sense that it does very well on immersion/graphics/w/e, but simply isn't as fun as half life 2. Sure HL2 is linear in nature, but its still a very fun game. I have and play the half life games and love them, though I just ordered a new computer (a beastly one at that) and will buy Crysis too :)

Get crysis, unless you can afford them both.

Just google "far cry 2 sucks" (with the quotes), and that should get you started.

The missions are repetitive, brand new guns jam every 5 minutes, the mission editor does not support ai, so no singleplayer maps, crysis is easier to mod, crysis no doubt has the better graphics, better lighting engine.

I'd be surprised if somebody could actually think far cry 2 is exciting and awesome after playing 200 identical missions, and then having to take out the exact same enemies, which by the way respawn every time after finishing a mission.

Yeah single campaign is boring. At least in a free-roaming game like GTA or Fallout 3 you can talk to people and stuff. There's only 1 person for every 50 miles in FC2. Multiplayer is good on FC2 though...
