  • For the government to state something as much as a team praying to god illegal is like trying to take away our freedom of speech thats why I think the government would never really do anything about any sports prayers.

  • If this is a public high school, that UNAMERICAN coach needs to be fired. Saying the Lord's prayer or any prayer at a school funded event is unconstitutional.

  • @SanguineBullet667 this is a big issue for you huh?

  • @SanguineBullet667 You must be "UNAMERICAN" if you think someone should be fired for freely expressing their religion. It's called freedom of speech and religion look it up on the 1st amendment. If you don't like the fact that public high schools do it maybe it is something that you need to learn to deal with. Their is a lot I have to deal with in life that I have no control over and neither do you.

  • @MrGamesVideos Ok, let me invite a muslim, a buddhist, at hindu, a satanist, and a pagan druid to all come and make the kids say their individual prayers to these religions in a public school. You are deluded and living in an illusion where you think your particular religion should get everything it wants because you just happen to be in the majority. I'm sorry that you either are 1. uneducated on our US Constitution and/or 2. a bigoted dominionist sleezebag.

  • @SanguineBullet667 Ok the freedom of religion states that the government can NOT make laws to prohibit free exercise of religion. Do you see any of these guys really being forced to do it? NO. If a player is a muslim and if he doesn't want to do it the coach shouldn't force him to. Now here is my explanation for your smartass sleezebag remark. Am I disrespecting your religion? NO. Do I know your religion ? NO. So maybe you think think before accusing me of "BIGOTRY".

  • @SanguineBullet667 how is he Unamerican? maybe you live in a big city somewhere in new york or california, im sorry that sucks to be you, here in the midwest, im sure its like this in the south as well, we exercise our right to freedom of religion.

  • @13craj I live in a small town in Texas. Way to stereotype. When you're in a SECULAR public school, you do not have the right to exclude people based on religion. He is an unamerican traitor, and you are too if you support his anti-Constitution views. You can't exercise your freedom of religion in a PUBLIC SCHOOL in a practice that EXCLUDES people. Read the Constitution sometime.

  • @SanguineBullet667 i think its a good thing to pray, we should keep God in everything we do, i dont understand your point in wanting to take God out of it. Maybe you havent researched American history but America was founded on Christianity

  • Love it

  • There no bonderys in a team, and if you never played on a that was close youll never understand.

  • what is this prayer called?

  • The Lord's Prayer

  • duh, i knew that.

    i don't know what i was thinking.

    lol

  • we did the same last season and we won every game

  • so do we.

in the locker room the coach does her lecture, then we get a break, then we do this and join hand and form a circle, then get another break, then we run out to the court. =) it's pretty amazing. =D

  • i wish my football team could do something like that

  • why doesnt your team do that you guys have to do that lol

  • Deliver us from evil...now let's go put their quarterback into a comma! Woohoo!

  • Unconstitutional!

  • i dont matter. when it comes time for us to pray our couch leaves the locker room. if any body isnt Christian, they can leave the room. But it Texas, so nobody leaves the room.

  • Yes, if this is a public school, it is unconstitutional. Coach or student led prayer is illegal at football games. Santa Fe Independent School Dist. v. Doe,

  • @imanerd36 who cares if it is illegal the only person who should be ofinded is the athiests and they dont believe in anything so it doesnt matter if everyone else says it... in every religion ther is a version of this prayer... the way i see it if you have a real problem with this you can leave cause nowhere in the constitution does it state there is a separation of church and state only there will be no official religion of the country...

  • @imanerd36 ha nerd!

  • @imanerd36 Their is something in the 1st amendment called freedom on religion and speech for the government to step in and keep sports teams from saying the lords prayers is unconstitutional. If they are players who don't want to say it the they don't have to. It people like you that cause so much animosity about religion in this country. Wish you have a great day.
