ladies please, we can all agree that longboarding is better than freebording and that all ripsticks should be set on fire. but freebords have their qualities just like longboards. if you're lazy and not great at skating then freebords are a good way to slide i guess, but the main difference between the two is that freebording actually feels somewhat like snowboarding, if you're into that. and thats what its designed for, longboards dont do that... that said, longboard>freebord anyday:)

Until you guys freeboard an longboard and do both don't rag on either, freeboarding is actually pretty hard and challenging, longboarding can be just has hard and challenging at times. Downhill races on longboarding quit a few close calls to really eating it hard, hospital visits tons from longboarding accidents, freeboarding not so much cause I haven't done it alot but I get the idea. It's all hard so until you try one or the other don't really say its gay or stupid just saying

@TheBreadSultan Freebords aren't good for anything other than downhill. Skateboards (that includes "longboards") are good for everything, including flatland. You can also stop much faster and have much more control over what you're doing on a board where you have all 4 wheels on the ground at the same time.
